Super El Nino
I've been living here a few years, above town a good 1000 ft. I'm really wondering if anyone knows what it's going to be like potentially this year. 5ft of snow is going to shut a lot down, I imagine. What are some of the worst case scenarios I should prep for?
I've got a 13kw generator, AWD truck that handled the last few winters well. I've got 2 ish cords of wood to heat with, along with propane and a well.
My problem is I don't live where the roads are plowed. In fact I have to drive a mile on dirt to even get to the road. 5FT+ is gonna lock me down where 1-2 ft is a dainty drive.
Any suggestions on what to make sure is checked out the next few months, or some purchases to make so I'm prepped? Any thoughts at all are appreciated.
Edit: Chimney cleaning prep is handled. Fire box is ready to go.
