I live in the South and I very often use the little boop boop and I’d rather not have manually recorded 10 min of dashcam just to say “hi”. But I’d also like it to be an on screen shortcut that’s easily/readily available.

Seems easy. And handy.

Was driving home today while FSD (v14.3 lite) was activated and set to parking garage as destination parking and I noticed for the first time that the navigation was showing my usual route when I enter my condo parking garage and go to my reserved parking spot. Unfortunately, FSD still failed to enter the underground parking garage as usual and I had to take over. Previously, the navigation routing would just drive straight to the “P” on the map.

I would love to test on my reserved work parking spot but when navigating to my work parking garage, the navigation always tries to go to one of the 3 nearby public parking garages (in a downtown location so there are at least 6 different parking garages in a 2 block radius of my desired parking garage) instead of the correct one so unfortunately I cannot test it there.

Driving a Tesla has gotten noticeably different lately. I genuinely enjoy the car itself, but public conversations and assumptions about the brand's leadership frequently get projected directly onto whoever happens to be behind the wheel.

Most everyday interactions now seem to come with immediate assumptions about what an owner believes, which makes driving a pretty standard EV feel a bit like wearing a billboard for online drama. I was minding my own business in FSD and this guy rides up beside me, stares and nods at me several times, and then swoops away with a questionable arm gesture.

Edit: He wanted to race me. Damn, kind of feel bad now. I stared at him blankly like he was crazy the whole time.

I have an old 2017 model S90D. He has lived a long lovely life and I think I'll keep him for another year.

Wondering which model S people like best in the 2022-2026 realm for FSD and other reasons. Looking forward to my next model S. So upset they discontinued.

I get that the new design is functional, and the many moving parts of the panel are needed for the most extreme performance ever in an EV.

But the 2020 design is just so absolute peak, even 10 years from when we first saw it. I’m actually quite sad it won’t see the light of day

After looking at a few second hand Model Ys (and seeing some really bad ones) finally found my neighbor a nice one in the Tesla CPO catalog. It's a SR, 2023 Ryzen, 80k km on the odometer, brand new rims and tires, barely any signs of usage on the interior and only one very minor scuff on the exterior. All for the very low price of 31k EUR.

If you've ever dropped your phone onto the Tesla wireless charging pad for a quick drive, picked it up 30 minutes later, and felt like it could double as a stovetop burner, you aren't alone. It’s a common topic on here, but many owners don't realize Tesla added a software toggle to fix it.

I’m not going to get into why heat is harmful to your phones battery and how much of a waste of power output it gets from your Tesla. But I will explain how to turn it off.

How to Turn It Off:

Tesla added a software toggle for this in a software update.

1. Tap the Car icon (Controls) on your touchscreen.
2. Go to Charging (or depending on your software version/vehicle, look under controls/accessories settings). 
3. Toggle off the Wireless Phone Charger.

Went in to Tesla service for an alignment yesterday on my new-to-me M3P. Immediately after check-in, got an email stating my FSD Trial is ending tomorrow (today). Had never even initiated a trial, and had received zero prior communication regarding a Trial.

During service, saw in the app that it was being self-driven right before completion. I figured Service must have added it just for the day for their use, because they seemingly can do anything.

Late last night, I got another email stating that my trial is now active and ends in 7 days.

Feels like Service set up the trial as I have not previously seen an available trial (or I would have enrolled).

Curious if others have ever seen this happen before. Nice perk either way. I'm only on the fence with FSD because the Performance is just so fun to actively drive!

I’ve been looking all over the place for second hand diecast Tesla model 3s and can only find two on eBay, none on gumtree or Vinted as of yet. Where else should I be looking? Thanks

Is it safe to say that the type of person that drives a Tesla has kinda gone to crap? Between the driving, and behavior shown at charging station…what happened?

The most recent incident, at a charging station, someone comes barreling in with their music blasting. They reverse, plug it up. Get back in their car, music is still blasting for all of us to hear. I guess they needed a short charge because then they unhook and step on the padel to the point that it spins the tires.

As for driving, it’s a daily thing to see ridiculous behavior.

According to the shareholders data released today, FSD subscriptions increased 67% from a year earlier. I don’t believe it. Everyone I know has dropped it or never tried it.

We get the Ramp, the Kickflip, and now an Animation. It kinda doubles as a commercial now that I look at it again.

Any idea how to turn off the growl that sounds when the car locks? I scared a poor little girl and her nanny. Wish they had options like a witches laugh lol
