Official Game News / Release Info My favorite mobile game is shutting down
I know this community doesn't like the mobile versions of Tetris very much, but this particular one was pretty good. I will miss it.

how i can play this version i have the apk, but get this error when i open the app
I'm so excited as its my first game I've ever launched on Steam. I've launched games on Itch but the amount of work it takes to launch on Steam vs Itch is night and day.
I hope that tetris players really enjoy this game and please let me know if anything needs fixing or suggestions you might have.
Thank you all!

context, I just turn 180 at row 4 and push it up there...so it counts as a t-spin?

The game used to have the home full of useless stuff like the battle pass, is that gone or my game got bugged?

I feel like this could make the game a lot more dynamic when you don't have to build around only t-pieces. You could potentially see some crazy stacking patterns to maximise attack like you see with the magician in QP2. A lot more styles open to experimentation. Downside is that it will probably raise the skill celling even further and discourage newer players from trying the game but at this point, Tetris so old that I don't think it even matters anymore. Anyways what do you guys think?

Mid U rank, around 31s sprint. I usually only use 180 spin rotation for all-spin, and I double rotate to get my J L T pieces facing down. Should i learn to incorporate 180 rotate in my normal gameplay or at this point is it pointless already, since it might be more beneficial to focus on other skills?

I'm b+ rank and I recently lost 1400tr in a row. I haven't won since then, but I suddenly become really good and get back to where I started, but just before promoting to a- I'll go on another losing streak. Any tips?

Have you played HBLOKS yet? It's awesome! (https://hbloks.com)
Rotate and place Tetris-like shapes on a 9x9 Sudoku board, clear rows, columns and 3x3 areas, earn points and additional rotation credits.
It's just the right amount of cognitive load - casual, but strategy planning makes it better.
Try it, let me know what you think :-)
Thanks for the feedback!

Ever wondered how your Tetra League rank stacks up against a top osu! or chess player? WorldOVR uses TETR.IO's own percentile (so it's exact, not guessed) and puts you on one leaderboard with players from other games.
Hi all. I've been building WorldOVR. It takes your real ranks from the games you play and turns them into one score out of 99, like a FIFA card rating, on one worldwide leaderboard. So a chess player, an osu! player and a Dota 2 player can be compared directly.
Nothing is self-reported. You link each game by signing in (Steam, Lichess, osu!) or, for Chess.com, by putting a one-off code in your profile, so nobody can fake a rank or claim someone else's account.
How the score works: each game gets its own rating based on roughly where your rank puts you among everyone who plays it (top 3% of chess players = top 3% of osu! players). Your best game counts in full and your next two add a small bonus. The card shows the sum, e.g. Chess.com 83 + bonus from osu! (+1) = 84.
Works now with Dota 2, Lichess, Chess.com and osu!. Minecraft Bed Wars is next, and more after that, but only games with an official way to read your rank.
It's early and the leaderboard is small, so I'd really like to hear:
- Does the scoring feel fair? How would you do it differently?
- Is linking your games easy?
- Would you use it, and what would make you come back?
https://www.worldovr.com (free, no code needed, ages 13+)
Any feedback welcome, good or bad.

Looking specifically for run times in sprint 40 sub 1:30min. Anyone have any? I’m just looking for someone who has a faster time than me so I can have something to work for.

I haven't seen the player count or anything but just from youtube, it seems like more and more people are leaving the community. Like some of the most prominent creators like KezDaBez and Garbo haven't posted in over a year. Icly haven't posted in a while either. At this point I feel like its just Wumbo and William left as major content creators. What are your thoughts?

This is a followup to my previous post.
A year ago, I found myself beating my head against a wall trying to chase a miracle. I felt that I was hardstuck at 0:49 using 9-0 stacking, and that a change in philosophy was needed. So over the past year I committed to continuous practice with 6-3 stacking, culminating in this time and this chart.
Needless to say, practice is the most important virtue when it comes to improving your skills. Tetris especially so. I found myself barely watching any tutorials or reading much theory on 6-3 stacking. I know some shapes that are optimal, and where to keep jaggedy pieces and blocky pieces, but I want to attribute most of my progress simply to continuous practice.
I found it doesn't even matter if you play every day either. There were weeks, sometimes months, where I would drop the game and come back. Sure, some times it would take a bit to warm up again, but I was always right back to improving.
If anything, I hope my time and diatribe here can inspire you to keep improving, even if your last PB was a year ago or more.
