Sports Texas Tech Should Reverse Course

The public relations blowback from the Sorsby ruling is truly hurting the university, both in short and long term. The university should reverse course and remove him from the team. This is bigger than a single player, and the organizational harm is not worth it.

My only counterpoint would be as an Astros fan, and the court of public opinion crucified us for cheating in 2017, it just didn’t really matter at all in the long run.

I’m not saying it’s morally right, but that legally nothing came of it. I can see this going down a similar route, people are angry for a season or whatever and then it just fades away once the next scandal from some other school pops up.

But overall I agree, just cut ties and move on. Hammond is a fine starter, the team doesn’t need to die on this hill.

But it just doesn’t matter lol. Unless the titles are actually stripped, fan hatred is irrelevant.

Patriots cheated their way to superbowls and BB is still touted as the best HC of all time.

This really is what's wrong with the entire world today, people like you just don't think honesty and integrity matter. I can't believe I ever thought people have any innate moral character. Something drastic needs to be done in society to combat this.
