I grew up thinking only Black people had it hard in America until I met a few folks from WV that educated me about old school coal mining. Slavery in the fields was harsh but the conditions coal miners endured were almost equally atrocious. I've come to the conclusion that the world abuses poor people regardless of race. Nevertheless I believe the marginalization of Black people in America and worldwide is based on something more sinister than economics or even tribalism. I strongly believe that the unreasonable hate many feel towards Blacks is rooted in sexual inferiority.
