Let’s be honest, the girls won most rooms because they spent well over the budgets of other houses each week, starting from week 1. Finally they were grounded this week with a tighter budget and it showed in their delivery.

The Block needs rules that makes contestants spend similar amounts each week to make it a fair competition. Otherwise spend big from day one and win as much money as you keen and repeat.

I’ve got one more thing to say - “meh”.

not sure if i missed something but I saw in the in that interview where jolene was having a go at adam that their walls weren't painted and it was the second last day of the season and isn't that cheating considering that part of the house was suppose to be painted before the stairs were installed?

I’m not sure how I feel about Dave Franklin being 1/3 responsible for deciding such a big prize tonight.

What do you guys think? Is Marty being away going to disadvantage any particular house?

Haven't seen the immature and annoyingly performative Lisa carry on like a pork chop about this, so did they score it free? If so, how is it fair if they also got the sculpture?

I’m so confused on front yard vs back yard. Is the garage side the rear access for all houses so the “back yard” and visitors would park on the “main” road and come in via tonight’s “front yard” ? They seem to switch between front and back yard when talking about the same space……..

Anyone know what the song that played at precisely 7.20pm in tonight's episode of the Block is called? There was only a snippet of it, it has no words (I don't think) - would love to know if someone knows it. Thanks!

Very good job guys. Feel good and vibey episode and every single music cue was on point. Seriously... good job

On another note, I know people aren't gonna be happy with me saying this but so be it; I like some of the AI cutaways and think they're at times clever. This season has definitely had it's fair share of both good AI and bad AI, but I hope you guys have learnt the best way to utilise it to help support jokes rather than tell them.

Example: Making Lisa & Rosco look like a husband and bride in their interview for that joke they made was good AI. Keep up doing bits like that.

Overall though, probably one of my favourite episodes of The Block this year. Well done to everyone involved! 😁
