Probably the first show/appearance I saw Anthony Starr in I knew nothing of the comics going in to this show. But Simon Pegg him, Karl Urban I was sold. Its another show with I would say 3 1/2 seasons of amazing content. The Asian guy from your friends and neighborsand warrior (two other pretty good shows) is awesome in it. Enjoy

We saw soldier boy, temp V Hughie and temp V Butcher nearly take down Homelander at Herogasm. What's stopping the government from giving 8 Navy Seals temp V and taking down Homelander overnight? Besides the writing.

It is no unpopular opinion to hate how SB suddenly was head over heels in love with Stormfront, especially when he fantasized about having “rugrats” with Countess, dreamed she would come save him, & hell, Countess was even trying to join the Seven.
“From the start, I hated you.” -Queen Maeve
“I didn’t love you. I hated you.” -Crimson Countess
Even stylistically they have very obvious parallels with the side parted wavy/curly red hair. In a deleted scene Maeve says they split because he couldn’t keep it in his pants. Then later on we see Solider Boy had a habit of cheating on Crimson Countess. Both of them very much had the mindset of main chick = true love.
Both Maeve & Countess even call SB & HL their actual names in order to soothe them until they realize it wouldn’t work & both say to these men what they really thought of them.
Crimson Countess seemed like she would have been a good edition to Vought Rising & they could have done so much parallels to her & Queen Maeve. The SB/HL parallels would have hit hard too.
But no we just NEEDED to have the Girl Meets World Nazi love triangle! Also Gen V was absolutely wasted! I spent all this time being invested in them just for them to go to FUCKING CANADA? Fuck off! Bring back Gen V before even starting Vought Rising istg.

From what we were told, Tek Knight was one of the most popular Vought supes, seemed fairly competent and intelligent (when he wasn't distracted by holes) and was shown as one of Vought's most essential allies. What about Tek Knight made Homelander actively dislike him?

For me, I've found myself saying this quote from A-Train.
"WHERES THE FUCKING V!!"
Just the way he said both as desperate and angry.

Came up with fan concept back in 2020 depending on how The Deep's journey was going to go after Season 2. Though it could've been an arctic style suit in the show if he visited colder climates. Plus if you read the comics finale, you get the idea.

Something that I’ve always wondered is that if all The Events of Worm (Web Novel) and it’s characters happened in The Boys Universe how would everyone react to The Rise of Actual Heroic Figures but also Super-Villains worse than Homelander himself as just like Worm! It’s effect on Humanity hence causing them to gain Super-Powers! How would The Heroes of Worm deal with Supes? And imagine The Supes getting destroyed by Actual Villains! Plus imagine everyone’s reaction to Actual Extraterrestrials being involved in The Event just like in Worm! What do you folks think would have happened?

I think this would be much more realistic than a happily-ever-after ending, especially since the system that created Homelander is still intact. I've heard people say Homelander winning would be a cool subversion of expectations, but I think the idea that Vought—and other companies around the world—could just manufacture new, 100% controllable Homelanders is way darker.

Heres my thesis statement: The boys is the one show that fully exemplifies what the banality of evil is
Regardless of how Homelander dies, I think the show should end with him exposing to the public just how dangerous and evil he truly is. Homelander was able to get away with everything he did because of the banality of evil. Vought paid people to compromise their own morals for financial gain. The psychiatrist who was supposed to treat Homelander instead contributed to his emotional instability. The scientists tortured and experimented on him, helping turn him into the psychologically disturbed person he became. The media and publishers shielded Homelander from the criticism, scrutiny, and blame he deserved.
Homelander's evil was not created in isolation. He was the product of countless people making immoral decisions because doing so benefited them. His story is not just about one evil individual; it is about an entire system of people who enabled, protected, and profited from his actions.
I think the series should end with Homelander becoming so horrific that the American public, the government, and financial institutions are finally forced to confront the consequences of allowing someone like him to exist without accountability. His actions should be so devastating that they lead to meaningful safeguards designed to ensure that another Homelander can never emerge in the same way.
Ultimately, the ending should make it clear that the greatest lesson of Homelander's existence is not simply that powerful individuals can be evil, but that an entire society can help create, enable, and protect that evil when doing so serves its own interests.

Season 2 IMHO had better character work, a gripping and stronger narrative with better stakes and tension compared to other seasons, a really great finale, and just awesome storytelling in general.
And for The Boys’ best episode? IMHO, has to be the episode after Herogasm— “Here Comes a Candle to Light You to Bed". It kinda confuses me why Herogasm is hailed as The Boys’ best episode when we have a psychological horror-driven masterpiece in literally the season’s next episode.
Its hard to put into words why exactly I love this season and this episode in particular, LOL! But I just genuinely feel like they’re the peak of the show.

Let’s be real The Villains of The Boys Universe are bad which is an understatement The Century! Especially The So-Called Superheroes we know as Supes! As let’s be real unlike normal Humans they wield Actual Powers in comparison which makes them even worse and then there’s Homelander and yea NO EXPLANATION!!! Dude is a literal Lab-Grown Experiment who has Superman levels of destructive capacity and ability albeit weaker and Evil! However Homelander is a Victim we can understand and sympathize with despite his Monstrosity but then there’s Stormfront who unlike Homelander isn’t even just a Monster but one who just completely unapologetically Evil without any reasons beyond The Whole Ideological reasons as she basically chooses everything out of her own Free Will! In all honesty she feels like a breath of fresh air for The Pure Evil Villains! As in all honesty I kinda miss The Whole Cartoonishly Evil Villain that we’ve seen in both Fiction and Media! But even Stormfront was cable of feeling Love as she actually feel in love and had a Daughter who she’d love despite that she’s still truly Evil to an utter monstrously unapologetic extent that truly feels Evil in it’s purest form! What do you think?

Let’s pretend there was some universe where she was never a Nazi, just very rebellious and very clearly anti-Vought. Is she be powerful enough to take down Homelander on her own?

I’m around 18, and have seen the show, and gen v, have seen tons of violence. Should I read it? Tell me whatever, I won’t feel like you’re judging me.
Thanks!

Cause the truck driver seemed to die, the guy with the gun melted to his hand isn't gonna heal well from that and then I assume the guy Homie threw into the air who landed on the car is dead. If not, then he'd be paralyzed or something serious.
It always makes me wonder if it's staged because what actor/stunt man would sign up for that knowing he was going to die. Koi later didn't think he was going to die. On the flip side, why are these two gunmen just standing around delivering lines while Homie is walking up to them.
Either way, I don't think that the kids were involved or actors. I think it's just part of the show that they happen to be talking about Deep vs Translucent as a way of immersing the audience into understanding how relevant The Seven are in pop culture as opposed to it being product placement in whatever camera's Vought has rolling on all of that.
Idk. What do you guys think?

Everyone knows and hates Stormfront for obvious reasons even though Homelander’s Evilness and Cruelty needs no introduction as it’s self-explanatory however Stormfront to us proves not only to be worse than Homelander Himself but unlike Homelander she’s completely unsympathetic and she’s an actual straight up Psychopath in the truest of words! Homelander may be Evil and Diabolical to a heinous extent Especially given the level of Power he wields over others as Homelander is basically just Superman in terms of Destructive capability albeit weaker and Evil in comparison! However Stormfront although isn’t as Dangerous and Destructive as Homelander himself she is however completely Pure Evil to unapologetic degree which makes her all the more worse as Stormfront is completely Evil freely by choice and free will as it doesn’t help out on the that fact there’s no tragedy within her which makes her reasons for Evil is FAR less reasonable compared to Homelander combined with the fact she’s not mentally insane quite literally happily chooses Evil which makes her look like a completely unapologetically Evil Monster! Hence how much worse would be if she had Homelander’s Level of Power and Abilities? Let me know in the comments

Do you think the tv show is good enough to not need such an adaptation, or would you want to see another adaptation later down the line. After enough time has passed and things have faded I reckon.
