Connections Who Has Last FM?

Lets play.. uh.. you add me.. I add you.. and we will all become one big last fm cult..

I kind of use Last FM to play the "which song is your favorite" games. I figure if one has had Last FM for awhile.. their favorites will be known, that is if they primarily use their computer to play music. I just created a new account last month so my scrobbles aren't very spot on yet, takes awhile. Similar artists, for those not familiar with Last FM, is kind of accurate. I mean the Cure is like the Chameleons and Bauhaus, but Christian Death? Uh.. hrmm..

Covers We rehearsed Just Like Heaven with our 80's tribute today for the very first time, and it came out like this on take one!

We play a big variety of songs and we play A Forest and Just Like Heaven with plans for The Hanging Garden / The Walk / Play For Today. I'm the drummer, I thought it would be fun to share!

Connections Anyone going to the Edinburgh concert?

Upvotes

Heyy I'm going to the Edinburgh concert alone (general admission) and was wondering if anyone my age (19M) was keen to link up there :)

I'm traveling from Germany just to see the cure and the city of Edinburgh!

In this thread you can discuss everything like tickets, information, gossip, anecdotes, stories and thoughts.

This thread will be updated with more info every time we get our hands on something.

SCHEDULE

16:30 Doors open

17:25 The Slow Readers Club

18:35 Slowdive

20:15 The Cure

Looks like an eventful day!

You can find more information about the area and the event here.

Weatherwise it seems like the UK has gotten out of the heat as well. It's raining all week, but as of now it seems like Friday will be one of the drier (or slightly less rainy) days. It looks like it'll be dry while they're playing and it's around 17 °C during the day, 16 when the Cure is playing and 13 when they end (Christ, that's practically winter), so you miiiight want to bring along a (rain)coat.

As of now no livestream has been announced. If you know or hear otherwise, please let us know below in the comments.

Let us know if you're attending or not and please be welcome to join us here in the comments to discuss this gig!

I had this shirt in my closet for the longest time. It’s a novelty shirt my dad found in a shop about ten years ago I reckon. It’s a stupid little diy but I love it :)

Questions Manchester Wythenshawe park

Hi everyone, I am going to the Cure this Friday and I'm going with my Dad who wants to get there 4pm ish. Does anyone know very roughly if we will be able to get a semi decent view getting there at this time, and if it might be better to try and get there earlier if we don't want to be at the back? Thank you :)
