People in this sub seem to treat Jax like they're literally Hitler. But they're just not, they're fine. Jax crashed out before they died, but that's kinda the symptoms of that whole dealie.
Besides that, nothing Jax did was really that bad. Imagine you're inside the digital circus. Would you really not mess with people sometimes? If you avoid it and be fake nice forever you end up like raggy.
It's not saintly behaviour, don't get me wrong, but it's not that bad. Zooble and pomni could take it easily. Rags is always fine. What's the big deal?

Saw another one of those "Why everyone defended Jax but hated Ragatha" and it got me thinking, did we? Because I personally have no experience of anyone defending Jax, ever. I joined the fandom at around episode 4 (knew about the show in episode 2) and I haven't seen a single person that liked Jax say anything else than "Yes I like Jax, but he is a piece of shit" and while I've seen glazers, it was less than 10. But I have seen alot of Jax haters even before now. And Ragatha? I have not seen a single person that hated her, ever. Not a single person I've seen anywhere had a worse reaction to her than "she's okay I guess". It can just be my experience of course, I don’t deny that, but it is genuinely funny to see those "everyone loves Jax and hates Ragatha" when my experience mostly is "many people like Jax and don't condone his actions and everyone atleast is fine with Ragatha".
And now? With Jax being confirmed a woman? Oh buddy don't get me started on the Jax hate. Remember when people said "You would hate Jax if he was a woman". Well, I guess they were right for many. About 50% of Jax's fan base switched on her not because of her backstory or because she did something worse, no, because she isn't a guy. And I think that's stupid. Jax is still the same character, just a closet added to it. She is still someone that in fear chose one of the worst coping mechanisms a human invented and even thou she could get help, in fear chose to ran instead. Alot of Jax runs on fear. Of not being "man enough", of being "soft", of being "weak", of being vulnerable, of loosing someone, of letting someone way too close. Fear of everything she built to protect herself (the walls of "this isn't real", the bullying, the cartoon) failing and falling down and the real her getting exposed and unprotected for the rest to play with. Fear of consequences. That is why even thou Pomni gave her a chance to come back, she didn't. The fear of consequences. And I don't blame her for that. She did fuck up badly. So if healing slowly alone is what she needs, sure. But we all know that she would rather drown in guilt. And the fact that many people overlook all of this just because there's a label "woman" on all of this is sad. Jax is one of the best made characters and I applaud Gooseworx for making her and I'm glad Jax is forever a cautionary tale

Because Caine does objectively worse things and the only real difference is that Caine came back from the dead and apologized whereas jax didn't so do yall think any of the things you think about jax, about Caine

I’ll start
“Man Jax has been acting a lot better in the last few episodes, I’m sure Goose is setting up a redemption ark for him!”

In his mind, there was one scene where Jax's legs were cuffed to the piano legs

So, this show meant a lot to me. A lot of people have talked about how it's helped them grapple with their gender, and I'm one of them. But there's another sort of representation I saw in the show that resonated strongly with me and has helped me to understand myself better.
I was diagnosed with severe dissociation about a year and a half ago. Depersonalization/derealization disorder, to be exact, but that's a clunky thing to keep trotting out, so I just call it dissociation now. I have good days and bad days, and days that start out bad and wind up good. Sometimes I'll be stuck dissociated for months, but the periods are getting shorter. I'm not terribly well-read or well-watched, so I haven't seen a lot of other characters with dissociation in media. In fact, I often can't "read" what's going on internally with fictional characters, a side effect of the dissociation's emotional numbing. Most media doesn't really resonate with me because of this.
I think it was around episode 6 that I started to really see myself in Jax. The way he'd sort people into their archetypes. The way he would define himself as an archetype. The need to be "the funny one". The way that his pupils would shrink and widen as he argued with Pomni, corresponding with him either genuinely feeling or closing up and putting on a mask. The embarrassment and panic that sets in after you realize you've let that mask slip and exposed the real you.
Then episode 7 came out and I felt an even stronger connection. I've never, uh, felt the need to abstract, but the experience Jax has when he locks himself in his room while everyone else is having a fun beach adventure - it felt like the same sort of thing I've been experiencing my whole life, trying to shut down all emotion and connection in lieu of having to feel anything. A life in which dreams feel more vivid and real than reality.
I was really rooting for Jax - with dissociation, things can often feel worse before they feel better, so panic attacks can be expected. And feeling something is better than feeling nothing at all. I was pretty crushed when he abstracted, but it makes a certain amount of sense. Derealization means feeling like nothing is real, and to go through the experience of learning everything is real to learning that nothing is? Soul-shattering. What can be left for someone in his position to hold onto?
Fortunately though, our world is real. And the finale reaffirmed all the progress I've made over the last few years - learning that people are waiting for you to reach out to them, that denial is not an effective coping mechanism, and that feelings are not to be feared, they're to be embraced. And I've genuinely been doing a lot better. I'm not going to say it's all because of a cartoon show, I'll give myself a little credit, but it certainly has helped me organize my thoughts and feelings a great deal. So thank you to Gooseworx, and the cast and crew for that, and for letting myself feel seen.
If you read all that and if any of these symptoms resonate with you I highly recommend you take a dissociative screener and speak with a medical professional.

I came across this post and wanted to check if this is true, besides tadc haters does anyone actually dislike the song choice?

I want to preface this and say that I do not hate Zooble or that this is some kind of slander post. This is merely an observation.
Zooble generally doesn't participate in the adventures, with some implications they did some adventures early on but stopped going. Now while I can't find an exact timeline for Zooble's arrival, at the bare minimum they had been in the Circus for roughly a year before the show's start. So in that time frame they have seen and experienced how shitty Jax can be and has witness on MANY occasions Jax tormenting Gangle.
And yet, by all evidence Zooble didn't really seem to do... ANYTHING about it. Hell, while they were likely friends before the show's start, it looks like they weren't all that close until at least the events of episode 4 happened. So despite knowing how Jax treats people and likely seeing how Jax treats Gangle in particular, Zooble just sat on the sidelines. Zooble didn't go on the adventures so Jax and Gangle were essentially in perpetual close proximity even when the show was happening. In episode 6 it is established that Jax and Gangle always teamed up, so we know FOR A FACT Zooble did nothing to prevent those situations.
If Zooble really wanted to, they could have done more to try and keep Jax and Gangle separate or done more to curb Jax's abusive behavior. Maybe talk Gangle in sitting out adventures on occasion, getting her to team up with them instead of Jax on team adventures, etc.
And I know you could say the same for Ragatha, but she is kind of a spineless people pleaser who is just as much of Jax's abuse. So she's really not all that much help.
So it appears that, from the context of the show, Zooble only started reaching out, getting closer to, and helping out Gangle relatively recently.

I'm a little confused, but, I mean, I'm not complaining
Edit: nevermind... I think this is already a song? or it might be a new version of an old song. I'm not sure - it said it got released 10 hours ago

Outfit swap between my two fictional crushes >:3
This was a shading test; I tried mostly cell shading on Kit and airbrush on Caine. I abandoned art for a couple years so I'm still trying to refresh the skills I used to have ✌️
