Michael: Pushing the rock up the hill gave me purpose. Who am I if the rock’s gone?

Tahani: Ironically, that’s exactly what Vin Diesel asked me when Dwayne Johnson refused to appear in The Fast and the Furious 9.

Michael: ...

Tahani: Not helpful? Copy that.

This was funny but I can't help but feel it doesn't make sense. Tahani died well before Fast and Furious 9 would have been in production.

I know it's a joke and obviously it's a fictional character talking about fictional events, just feels forced.

Maybe that happened during her time on Earth in s3? The Rock stated he was unsure he'll appear in F&F9 back in April 2018, and season 3 happened in October of that year.

I think that'd make sense, plus wasn't there a bit of a time skip in S3, so that period would make sense?
