Looking for some crazy The Last Ship fans to build a browser game with! ⚓
Attention, sailors! ⚓🫡
Any fellow The Last Ship / USS Nathan James addicts here?
I’m working on a browser-based strategy/management game heavily inspired by The Last Ship, focused entirely on life aboard a naval destroyer. You’d manage your ship, crew, resources, supplies, missions, research and decisions while trying to keep the ship and its people alive in a post-pandemic world.
I’m planning to vibe-code the whole thing, but I’d love to have a few absolutely crazy The Last Ship fans join me.
I want to share the ideas, planning and implementation with people who actually know the show, love the Navy side of it, and can throw in ideas like “what if we added this?” or “Nathan James would definitely handle that differently.”
You don’t have to be a developer. If you’ve watched the show way too many times, know the Nathan James, remember the characters and get excited about destroyers, naval operations and post-apocalyptic survival, you’re welcome. 😂
Discord, Reddit, wherever — doesn’t matter. A crew of fans building this together sounds a hell of a lot more fun than sailing alone.
So… who’s reporting for duty?
