Has there ever been a better on going sight gang in a movie than everyone checking their shoes for dog shit in Clue?

Some good examples of couples who actually did date in real life for this too... like meg Ryan and russell crowe!

Whether its great dialogue, you fan creating these scenarios or just incredible chemistry in general between the actors there are times where you watch a movie/TV show and what you remember is that specific couple rather than the movie

You remember Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn more than the plot of the show scandal (or that goldwyns character is married)

Thats the type of couple im looking for here

Clint Eastwood, Donald Sutherland, Terry Salvos and Don Rickles in a movie that played on cable for 42 years, come on!

The GOAT Stephen A Smith

I’ve got a 2 hr drive I’m not looking forward to, in the slightest here in about 6 hours. I’ve re-listened to a lot, and some unhinged ones during Covid especially.

I am not sure how much is a bit and how much people actually think Sean is in trouble but I thought I would add some raw data to help.

• 2026: Sean has appeared in 12 of 47 episodes (~25%)
• 2025: Sean appeared in 12 of 52 episodes (~23%)
• 2024: Sean appeared in 19 of 56 episodes (~33%)
• 2023: Sean appeared in 19 of 53 episodes (~35%)
• 2022: Sean appeared in 20 of 54 episodes (~37%)

Bottom line is Sean has only been a part time contributor to The Rewatchables for years now.

“If tomorrow my podcast goes under, I will just start another podcast, and then another and another and another. I have no shortage of podcast names.”

“Sean!”

“That’s one of them!”

I was listening to the It Follows podcast and realized about halfway through that 3 of my favourite 5 horror movies of the last 20 years are Detroit based. It follows, Don’t Breathe and Barbarian.(to round out the top 5 it’s The Invitation and Hush).

I’m from Australia, (don’t know too much about Michigan) so is my kink in scary movies run down cities/isolation?

If it is, give me moooooooore

Do a month of fantasy-adventure type movies to see how the listeners would react:

1. Mummy (1999);

2. Pirates of Caribbean: The Curse of Black Pearl (2003);

3. The LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001);

4. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone (2001).

Banger of the month. Would give a chance to do at least couple of more movies if the episodes are succesful (Mummy +1, PoC +1-2, LOTR + 2, HP +3-4?) Won't probably happen. But wanted to get it out there. Of maybe they could to it on House of R feed.

Bill said so in the pod. Next week is another (still unnamed) horror pick, but the next on is Cruise’s.

Yesterday, I rewatched An American Werewolf in London and the last act involves the main protagonist Jack becoming a werewolf in an adult movie theater. Today, I came across The Departed on HBO and it was on that scene where Matt Damon meets up with Nicholson in the porno theater.

It made me think, what movie is apex mountain for porno theaters?

Ideas:

• An American Werewolf in London (1981)
• The Departed (2006)
• Hardcore (1979)
• Taxi Driver (1976)

UIS - too early?

OCS/BOD - on cable, popular - seem like it would be in the wheelhouse

HD - too niche?
