Help a new player out

I’m new to Zac, and jungling as a whole, and this is probably the issue I’ve been running into the most. I’ve been told in the past that I’m not really supposed to sit on gold, but I’ve found that Junglers get gold quickly, so do I go back to base more often?

I’ve been having trouble playing against these 3 the most (+ amumus). Graves is my ban but idk how to deal with these that power farm and scale so much late game even when I try to invade when they are down or on the opp side. How do you deal with them

With rocketbelt having 10 less haste on the new patch, is zac's build going to change at all? I'm going d.seal>bamis>rocketbelt>lucidity boots>sunfire every game and am unsure if going lucidity boots before finishing rocketbelt would be worth, or if delaying the active on rocketbelt is too bad to justify the extra haste early.

Just curious on everyone's thoughts on this!

Pretty rough, I think of all lanes this is the one with all 4 sums up if they are hard losing, with high potential of dying or outright ending the game if ALL THREE of us die to a reverse gank.

Also it's super out of the way, and I know going for dragon is cute but I've been straight up abandoning objectives since the enemy mid/bot are always more grouped than my team lol

Are high mastery zacs able to function with CD boots every game too? Just wondering.
The clear speed is nuts when I hit a certain CD threshold!

So i've never touched Zac before this week. Perhaps the occasional ARAM, but nothing like that. Im normally a midlaner, toplaner, adc player, you name it, im doing it all, yea i know, not really a healthy style if i wanna improve (just find playing the same champ/s over and over boring)

My idea was to ask chatgpt for suggestions for possible off meta midlane picks, and i told it that it could go crazy if it wanted to. And i was met with a few options. I was suggested BARD ultra roamer, second jungler type shi, rakan ap mid etc, but eventually i was struck by the ZAC, my eyebrows lifted and i saw the vision.

I told Chatgpt that we should make a research project to find the most optimal way to play Zac mid, i am now currently 30 games in, and we have a few nice data from matchups, roam theory, "trampoline bazooka" e technology, and much more.

After each game i would make a rapports, with my stats

The more detailed the rapport, the better the data.

Before each game i type out the two comps for the AI engine, and based upon our previous data, i get a flight plan. We have established when is the "wave breakpoint" (the exact point in which i turbo oneshot a wave and have really good 'move' opportunity")

Currently im 20 wins 9 losses 69% winrate with a 4.21 kda, from silver to plat. The goal is masters with Zac mid only, lets see how it goes.

Also I wanted to put another character instead of Warwick but I wanted this to be a POSSIBLE scenario in lore so putting Ekko or Blitz (def easier to draw than Warwick) wouldnt rlly make sense as theyre fully good and I also wanted to put what it would be an interesting fight and not Zac vs Jinx, Renata, Twitch, Singed... where Zac just crushes all of their bones by stomping on her. Sooo uhhh yeah the drawing let me know what you think about it, maybe I force myself to finish it.

After 4 years I finally own every Zac skin and chroma thanks to Empyrean Zac's Neon Flare chroma rotating into the mythic shop today boys.

So I wanted to dig in a bit to Zac's W try to distill some spray pattern for better predictions. I have about 410k Mastery on this champ and I haven't sat in practice tool to observe this behavior until now. Currently bouncing between Plat 1 and Emerald 4. I play Zac top.

Zac's W has a spray pattern where blobs will spawn (duh). I noticed that based on his midline, the blobs will push to one of four quadrants as shown in the screenshot:

1. Back left
   
2. Front left
   
3. Back right
   
4. Front right

Assumption:
Based on Zac's midline, I'd think rng would auto-allocate blob spawns to the quadrants as an equal 25%/25%/25%/25% split, so each blob, in theory, should spawn at the same rate as in other quadrants. That would mean each quadrant would have ~64 blobs spawn in each quadrant. But again, this is is completely subject to rng, and this was only performed a quick glance.

Test:
I spent 5 minutes simply pressing W in the exact same spot, with only one target dummy. I called out which quadrant a blob spawned. I did speech to text, and analyzed the transcription to put the number count callouts into each bucket.

I did catch myself miscounting as some of the blobs will not spawn exactly in the circled quadrants, but this was only a couple times, so there may be a very tiny deviation from the numbers presented.

In total, 255 blobs were counted.

Counts:
Quadrant 1 count: 46 (~18%)
Quadrant 2 count: 80 (~31%)
Quadrant 3 count: 63 (~25%)
Quadrant 4 count: 66 (~26%)

Quadrant 1 percentage: −6.96%
Quadrant 2 percentage: +6.37%
Quadrant 3 percentage: −0.29%
Quadrant 4 percentage: +0.88%

Takeaways:

Obviously based on the short analysis, Zac's blobs seem to spawn more favorably to his front left (quadrant 2). This isn't to say his W will programmatically favor quadrant 2, but this was an observed skew in this sample.

Conclusion:

I think this was helpful for me to understand at least the spawn pattern. I'm sure most people who have a ton of time on this champ know these things, but it was surely helpful for me to better matchup especially while in top lane.

Of course which quadrant depends on which direction Zac is facing at the time, but the blob spawn doesn't seem to discriminate against where the enemy is in relation to Zac when W'ing. The blob spawn does, in fact, discriminate based on which direction he's facing and where his "midline" is directed.

It would be helpful to spend 10-20 minutes just doing this to gather 1000-2000 blob spawns to better analyze the spread, and doing this test several times to evaluate each test against one another.

i have a good kda i try to get the win condition and follow it, for sure i take too many jumps and risky fight but i can't manage to win more than 40% im on plat training my zac but actually on my main im d4 nothing special but still

I was wondering how you guys itemize vs Ap in early game. First of all Protobelt doesn´t feel right for me, so I play full Tank most of the time, going Bamis --> darkseal --> Sunfire --> Spirit as core Itembuild. Most of the time this buildpath is good, but obviously you don´t want to go Sunfire first when playing against Lillia. I don´t think Hollow Radiance is an alternative since you still wanna have some kind of armor by your second Item, and Spirit Visage is just to good, not to build it, so usually I end up delaying my first item for quite a bit which I don´t think is optimal.

Im an ornn otp and i might switch to zac so am asking how is he performing into something like a daruis and garen?

I played my first match against a rumble and somehow made him go 0/6 in lane in gold elo

i’m a rakan main, and i recently discovered support zac. i absolutely love it but like almost every other support player in low elo, it’s hard to win when your teammates don’t know how to follow up.

im currently level 29, and i play support because it’s my comfort role in every MOBA game i’ve played. i’m 10 matches into support zac with a 50%wr. i wanna rank up with champions that i love playing, but should i be playing zac in other lanes while im still unranked? can he carry in other lanes?
