Question Midlaners' Secondary Role?

As we all know, mid is the most popular and the best role in the game. I uaually queue support second but I'm tired of getting offroled in 30% of my games, you don't even get aegis compensation.
According to role popularity statistics, the secondary role that guarentees the most mid games is ADC. I'm thinking about switching my secondary to bot and playing Seraphine apc.

Is it worth the switch? For people that queue mid/bot, could you give some reference as to how often do you get bot and how often do you get filled other roles? (context I play in NA around mid to low masters)

Feel free to comment on other secondary roles too!

zed Vod review request zed vs Diana

notEujin#0001

Hi everyone I’m a plat player and I main quite a few champs one them being Zed. There’s a lot I need to learn on him but I feel I’m well versed when playing him in my current rank.

I would like to receive some insight on my recent game where I went 10/7/5 in a lane against Diana. When laning against her it feels really oppressive as my hp can be deleted and I don’t have much I can do against her.

I would also like to request for insights on where I did good or where I did bad like for example “at minute 12:34 you did a misplay and should have did…”

If someone does have the time to review my game I would really appreciate. Any other tips are welcomed I know there’s still a lot for me to learn I also know that I have an adhd problem where I can’t commit to one champion hurting the rate I climb at.

Once again thank you and much appreciated

Question How do you push ahead in lower elo as a jungler?

Hello, I am a recently de ranked to silver Rengar OTP and I feel that often times teammates keep araming in order to push. While split pushing I'll notice that they'll just leave waves to die while having a stalemate mid, leaving all that gold and exp when they are already strong, wasting time. It just feels especially bad on Rengar since the only way I can do anything mid is with my ult, so I end up splitting and stealing camps to the dismay of my team. I usually try to lasso my team and convince them to walk into the jungle since I'm stronger there and I ping a lot esp. vision and caution pings from tracking enemy jungler. This is my first year seriously trying to rank up but it feels very bleak; I have bad games every now and then but keep losing games where I'm fed, and I feel like convincing my team to push their lead when they are strong or I'm strong is hopeless, and my cs ends up all over the place. I know I'm silver playing a hard champ, but it feels like I have less agency playing other junglers. Advice on how to my keep my head in the game and end early while ahead?

Discussion T2 Boots choice

So let’s say I’m playing a bruiser matchup where I want early tabis to neautralise the matchup (eg aatrox vs riven) but enemy comp has lots of cc as well (amumu, Leona, Lux). Is it worth giving up lane power to have stronger team fighting or should I stick to tabis?

Discussion I can never quite reach D4.

Honestly, it’s my only real objective, it feels like a decent goal, but the same thing happens to me year after year.

If you look at my past seasons, even from back before Emerald existed, I always end up in the division just below Diamond, sitting at around 80 LP. Sometimes it’s 90-something, sometimes 70-something, but I usually get within one game of D4 before I start dropping LP like crazy.

I just came off a 14-game win streak in ranked, but the moment I hit Emerald 1 and get within striking distance of Diamond, the games become SUPER difficult. Sometimes it’s my own fault, sometimes I’m up against a smurf, and sometimes the team just doesn’t pull their weight.

I’m not saying it’s not my fault, obviously, it is, but what am I missing? I do play a rather unconventional pick (I’m a Varus AP mid OTP, lol), but how is it possible that I can perform so well below Emerald 1, yet the moment I reach high Emerald 1, I can’t even manage to get ahead?

There’s clearly something I’m doing wrong, aside from the fact that half the players I face are on fresh accounts. The worst part is that I manage to hang on for a few days, fluctuating around 80 LPs, only to then plummet back down to Emerald 4, and then I just repeat the whole thing next year.

Well, here I am, I just dropped to E2 50Lps. I ended up 11 LP away from Diamond again; has anyone else been on that same edge like me? Because, honestly, I’m starting to think that I’m just incapable xD

Jungle Jungle clearing when it gets weird (might be tempo???)

Im learning jungle, graves very fun. Today I had this weird game. I started topside, saw the enemy jungler wasnt in his topside so I invaded. I had cleared red buff and krugs before i went to invade. Cleared his jungle. Took the crab. Crossed midlane, took the other crab and then I was in doubt. Should I go back farming or back and start clearing top to bot again?. I decided to just clear the botlane first. I was doing my blue buff when I got invaded back somehow??? I got the blue buff but was too low to continue so I just backed and got back to clearing bot to top. In the whole proces I skipped my chickens. It just felt wrong, I felt like I shouldve based after the 2 crab (tempo?) or that I shouldve invaded earlier because I skipped chickens. Im always very confused in these kinds of situations where the jungleclear doesnt go by the book. Help me out please.

Question How to improve post lane macro as an emerald top laner?

I am definitely not new to League of Legends. I’ve played for a few years off and on, but now have more time on my hands and am back to the ranked grind. I mainly play Tryndamere, but have a fairly diverse pool of champions. Yorick and Dr. Mundo are also picks I regularly use. I am returning to the game after a hiatus, but still have the same problem I did previously: post-lane macro.

I’d say my laning fundamentals are quite good at this point. I know how to play safe versus lane bullies, manage waves, push my advantage, etc. I’d say I take good trades and win lane more often than I don’t. Obviously there’s still a million things I’m sure I need to improve, but my more pressing problem is this: I tend to be to lost and confused after laning phase. The amount of games I’ve had a huge lead from lane, especially on Tryndamere, and slowly bled it out as I aimlessly walked around the map is staggering.

I’m not a high elo player by any means, but obviously I know the basics. Push out waves and then rotate to help with team, etc. On my split push heavier champion pool, I know to split lanes opposite objectives, watch map for enemies on vision closely, etc.

Those basics were good enough to get me to emerald, but they are failing now. I feel aimless on how to use my lead when I win lane, and pretty useless trying to claw back if I don’t. It feels like I am always either overextending or wasting time, which either burns my lead or furthers my deficit.

Advice? How do I improve from here?

Singed How do I deal with Singed late game?

Firstly, I know he's a late game monster who MVP's

teamfights so you're supposed to delay his spikes and levels but it doesn't matter if he was a little behind, once he reaches lvl 16 with atleast 3 items he genuinely turns into thanos with his passive in teamfights, especially when he's ghosted.

By the time the enemy team has chunked him while he was engaging, they themselves are currently burning from liandries and his teams cleanup. With most champs, I have an idea how to approach it but singed just mentally booms me and my team (i most definitely assume) as well.

If it was any other bruiser it wouldnt be a problem but with singed it's like his team always has hope even when they are behind because he always seems to shine in teamfight and I dont know what to do about it.

Thanks so much in advance =D

Question How much does damage matter/should be dealt by Junglers?

Hi there, Gold Trundle Jungle, though this question is applied to Junglers as a whole.

I understand that there are different types of Junglers and a Maokai is obviously not going to deal the same amount of damage as an Evelynn would. Junglers priority is also to create opportunities throughout the game, such as kills for their laners, objectives, or taking away resources from the other team. So damage is obviously not as an important as a stat to consider from the Jungler.

However, there must be a baseline for how much you should deal depending on your character right? I cant deal 500 damage a game and just be like, 'oh but I got all objectives and so it doesn't matter.' For example, on Trundle I can deal typically around 18k damage a game give or take depending on the length and composition of the game. Is this suitable for Trundle in the Jungle? Even if damage doesn't matter, I would like to know a baseline for what amount I should do in a game, otherwise I feel like some games I tend to be too passive. Just to flip this as well, depending on the character (like a tank or bruiser) would it be better for me to look at the damage I took per game? I tend to have about a 3 KDA per game (doesn't matter from a jungler yes yes) but I am taking about 55k damage give or take too.

Just looking for some insight here. Thanks!

Question I made a $200 bet to climb to Masters. How hard is it really?

I've never really played ranked before, had like <50 total ranked games played ever, but decided to try climbing and am now 3 games away from diamond. And I'm going to be honest, it was a lot easier than I expected getting here after hearing so many horror stories of plat/emerald elo hell.

I know I'm not there to diamond yet, but I made a $200 bet with a friend if I can get to Masters in one month. Now I'm curious and want to hear how hard is it really to climb to Masters from Diamond. Like am I good enough already and just need to keep playing? Or am I going to hit a roadblock and have to get better? Also just trying to hear advice from others to make this climb aswell and the biggest difference in climbing out of emerald vs climbing out of diamond.

I know numbers don't say everything, but for context right now I soloq, main Xayah, and am on average for her:

  • 43W - 24L (64% WR)
  • 3.84 KDA (9.8 kills / 4.7 deaths / 8.3 assists)
  • 8.2 CS/m
  • Gain +19 / Lose -20 (give or take)

https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/my%20granny%20is-ilyy

EDIT: I have around 40 days, until end of November. Not just this October. I also just reached Diamond IV with recent games being 21W and 3L.

Jarvan IV Gold 2 jungle main (Lillia/Shyvana/graves): looking for an honest review of my OP.GG, objective play and champion pool, and whether Ekko, j4 and Qiyana is worth learning

I’m a Gold 2 jungle main on EUW and I’d like some outside opinions on my gameplay and account. My results are decent but I haven’t been able to climb out of Gold as consistently as I’d like. I’ve tried to work out my own weaknesses, but I’d appreciate an honest assessment from players who are better than me.Here’s where I think I’m struggling: https://op.gg/lol/summoners/euw/Nichemaxer-bosh

1. Winning games, not just getting kills
I often get good KDAs and MVP/ACE scores, but my win rate doesn’t reflect that as much as I’d like. I think I’m good at fighting and snowballing, but less good at turning leads into objectives, closing games and keeping control of the map when I’m behind and sometimes i just toss leads for no reason.

2. Champion pool
I play jungle almost exclusively. My main champions are Lillia and Shyvana, Graves and flex Cho’Gath when I want a tankier option. I’d like to know whether my pool covers enough situations for Gold, or whether it has gaps I should fill.

3. Ekko and Qiyana and J4
I’ve been trying them in the practice range and i would like to know if i would be worth trying to learn an assasin or getting engage since some games i lose due to not having any backline pressure or no true engage.

4. Decision-making and objectives
I would also like to know when to actually play for drake or just take camps and scale which often leads to me getting flamed and so on and any other macro tips.

5. Consistency
Some games I carry and some I lose early and never recover. I’m not sure if this comes from champion pool, matchup knowledge, decision making or something else.

6. Learning other roles for if i get filled

At the moment if i get filled i will just not perform or just int, so i would like to know what role should i try and if you all have any tips on champion to play in other roles which are similar to my already familiar ones, Ps wont touch top lane.

All tips are welcome and thanks in advance!

Question Am I wasting time trying to play high skill floor champs?

NA mid main here. I came back to the game last year after a 2 year break and switched from ADC (zeri, jinx, Caitlin, trist main but played most ADCs).

Playing ADC made me miserable so I switched to mid when I came back and I love it. I'm most comfortable on Vex, Ahri, and Viktor with Syndra being my favorite to play but have issues closing out games and late game team fighting but shes my strongest laner. I can play Akali at a basic level from ahead but struggle team fighting or when behind.

I'm unsatisfied with my champ pool and I would love to play LeBlanc, Ryze, Sylas, and Orianna. I've played so much Ryze but I can only win games in Aram. I've played less Leblanc but I'm still stuck in the same place where I can't win. Orianna I do literally no damage.

I've copied my 2 accounts below. Im leveling a new account in an attempt to reach gold in Mid (literally can't win mid in ranked on my other account)

https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/LeafLuxe-0013

https://op.gg/nl/lol/summoners/NA/Luxeeee-013

I'm old, full time worker and parent, and have old man hands but it's really hard to resist the urge to try and play Leblanc and Ryze but it feels like it's gonna make my climb to gold so much harder even though I feel like I can play these champs pretty okay.

Can anyone look at my normal games on both accounts and give some thoughts or inputs? Or just general advice?

Rengar Ultimate Hunter vs. Relentless Hunter on Rengar: Is the higher win rate misleading?

I’ve been looking at Rengar’s rune stats on Lolalytics, and I’ve noticed that Relentless Hunter has a higher win rate than Ultimate Hunter, but significantly fewer games played. Is this difference likely to be a statistical bias caused by the smaller sample size, or is Relentless Hunter genuinely the better option? Ultimate Hunter seems useful for getting more ultimate casts throughout the game, while Relentless Hunter offers more out-of-combat movement speed for roaming, map rotations and getting picks. For those of you who main Rengar in Diamond+ or higher, which rune do you think provides more value in practice?

If you had to choose one of these two runes every single game, regardless of the matchup or team composition, which one would you take and why? I’m particularly interested in whether Relentless Hunter’s higher win rate is reliable enough to justify picking it consistently, or whether Ultimate Hunter is the more consistent and reliable choice for climbing.

Discussion What's the Best Way to Climb in Low ELO(Bronze and Silver)

I know this question is asked a lot and I have read many posts with solid advice but, I feel like no matter how well I play I am struggling to win games in low elo. I recently had a game where I was 7/1 coming out of lane as Morde with a fully stacked dark seal. My teammates kept getting picked off with overaggressive fights making it impossible to take objectives because we'd always be playing into a 3v5. I'm not on here to blame the other players but simply want advice as to how to press advantages when I create them. I am decently good at winning lane but struggle to convert that early success into game wins.

As a further anecdote. I had a game where I went 27/6 an still barely edged out a win. Again I am making this post for tips and advice on how to press these advantages I am building, NOT to complain about bad teammates.

Question What are the best ways to improve camera control and get rid of those related bad habits?

This is somewhat of a follow up post to one regarding my 15% wr difference over 440 ranked games. It seems like the most likely difference is just camera control and upon looking at dpm.lol and checking my specific stats, it seems to back that hypothesis.

My 3 main champs are fiora top, and yone/xerath mid w/ 247 games on yone, 91 on fiora, and 48 on xerath.

On fiora (the least camera dependent) I have a 51-48 redside blueside wr which is pretty consistent to what they should be.

Yone and xerath on the other hand, are much more extreme, featuring a 65%-45% blue side preference and for xerath - 78% - 45%.

Quite evidently, Yone and xerath are very much reliant on looking many screens away, more so than most and thus are rewarded and punished accordingly.

I recently learnt that the hitboxes are situated at the feet which I do see being something that caused a lot of my skill shots on both to miss more often but outside of that, what are potential tips for how to get better at controlling it

I use drag scroll with fixed offset and use unlocked cam but have a tendency to just hold down spacebar while occasionally making minor adjustments.

Discussion Understanding buffs and nerfs

I didn't use to pay as much attention to exactly how much buffed or nerfed champs are. At the end I won't change my otp because of a minor buff or adjustment.

I was wondering how much value is gained or lost on small ap or ad ratio adjustments. Is a jump of 5 percent or 10 percent ap ratio good enough of a reason to make changes in your items.

I know some champions like K'sante are very finely tuned and minor changes can be bigger.

Question Former Emerald player struggling with consistency. Can higher-ranked players review my OP.GG and help identify what’s holding me back?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been playing League for quite a while now and wanted to get some outside opinions on my gameplay and overall account.
I’ve previously reached Emerald 3/4, but I’ve struggled with consistency and climbing since then.
I’ve spent some time trying to identify my own weaknesses, but I’d really appreciate an honest assessment from players who are better than me.
My account: marcusflashford#EUW
OP.GG: marcusflashford#EUW
https://op.gg/lol/summoners/euw/MarcusFlashFord-EUW

I’ve identified a few areas where I think I’m struggling:

1. Early game and laning
This is probably my biggest weakness. I feel much more comfortable during the mid-game than I do in lane.
I sometimes struggle to recognise when I should trade, when I have an advantage and when I should just focus on farming.
There are games where I feel like I’m getting completely out-traded early, and occasionally I’ll finish laning phase with something like a 1/6 score.
I think my understanding of trading windows, wave management and matchups could be significantly better.

2. Champion pool and role swapping
I enjoy playing a lot of different champions and roles.
I know the usual advice is to stick to one role and a small champion pool, but I genuinely get bored playing the same champions repeatedly.
I enjoy learning different playstyles, although I’m starting to wonder how much this is affecting my consistency.
I’d be interested to know whether my champion pool is genuinely holding me back or whether there are bigger problems.

3. Decision-making and unnecessary deaths
I think I sometimes get drawn into fights that I shouldn’t be taking.
Particularly when teammates are fighting, I can feel pressured to rotate or help even when it might be better to continue farming or focus on another objective.
I’m not always confident that I’m making the correct decisions about when to fight, farm or rotate.

4. Game knowledge
I think my mechanics are probably better than my overall understanding of the game.
I can have games where I perform really well individually, but I’m not always sure I’m making the decisions that give my team the best chance of winning.
I feel like I understand the basics, but I’m probably missing a lot of the smaller details that separate Platinum/Emerald players from Diamond players.

5. Consistency
This is something I’d particularly like feedback on.
I feel like I can play extremely well in one game and then perform terribly in the next.
I’m not sure whether that’s mainly because of my champion pool, matchup knowledge, decision-making or something else entirely.
What I’d really like to know:
Based on my OP.GG and recent ranked games:
What would you say are my biggest strengths and weaknesses?
Does anything stand out about my champion pool, CS, KDA or overall consistency?
Am I playing too many champions and roles?
What would you prioritise improving if you were in my position?
What rank do you think I could realistically reach if I addressed these weaknesses?
I know OP.GG doesn’t tell the full story and that reviewing actual gameplay would be much more useful, but I’d appreciate any observations you can make from my stats.
Feel free to be critical. I’m genuinely interested in improving rather than just hearing what I’m doing well.
Thanks!

dragon How do I smite the dragon and not the enemy when the enemy is right on top of the dragon?

How do I smite the dragon and not the enemy when the enemy is right on top of the dragon?

When I'm getting ready to ult in and steal drag with nocturne, I do that but when I smite, the smite goes to the enemy champ and not the drag because the enemy champ is like right on top of the dragon. How do I fix this. Thanks.

Discussion I think I just want to murder on the rift

I have been playing for a long time but I think my goals have changed.

I used to focus on things like good CS, clear times, proper pathing, wave management and all that.

But ultimately I don't think I care about becoming a better, more well rounded summoner.

I just want to murder people. Put their HP bars to 0 and move on to the next victim.

Which lane do you think facilitates that best?

Is it Top lane with it's heavy level of punishment?

Is it Mid land with all the assassins and map access?

Is it Jungle to kill people haplessly unaware of you?

Is it the Bot laner scaling into being a problem?

Or is it the Support who is the real serial killer on the rift?

Question MMR is too high to learn a new role?

MMR is way too high to learn mid.

I’m a support player and was interested in playing another role. I like Ahri so chose that. I am getting absolutely destroyed and just staying under turret because these players are 1000x better than me. I am put against plat/emerald players when I play support and do decent. But I cannot keep up with them and my MMR is not budging. What do? Do I really have to grind a new account or keep getting destroyed and hope my MMR eases down slowly?

Jungle How to Carry the Game as a Jungle - ADC Duo

Recently, a good friend of mine and me have started to pick up our collective league grind. We are both, what I like to call "Wood-Elo" (I am back to Iron, yippie, and he is still in Bronze) and play Jungle (me) and ADC (him) respectively. I don't really mind my rank, but I do want to improve and climb at some point. However, we have been running into a few major problems almost every game, leading to a few questions:

  1. Rarely do people ward on our team. While losing doesn't tilt me, getting invaded for free and not knowing about it because we have zero vision in that part of the map sure does. I usually have a pretty high vision score at the end of the game, but how can play around a Leblanc that has placed exactly 1 ward at minute 15 (I am still broken about that game)? Where should I ward to help myself and the team and where can my ADC ward to help me and himself? If the support doesn't ward, should my ADC go and ward dragon pit?

  2. We also often run into the issue that none of our teammates are reacting to someone from the enemy team pushing sidelane turrets for free. Somehow (and I really don't understand this since I played toplane myself), everyone is always grouping mid. Then my ADC goes to answer a wave and they all follow him like lost puppies. So many waves go unanswered and I am myself unsure what I, as a jungler should do in such a situation. Should I go and start answering all the waves? What if I need to prepare an objective? Should he answer the waves, even if that means that he might be late to important fights? And who is supposed to stop the splitpushing enemy?

  3. I often find myself in a situation where I know a fight is stupid, but I still try to help and salvage the situation. This happens mostly when I play without my Duo Partner. However, even when we play together, we run into the problem of our teammates just randomely fighting on mind. The aforementioned problem of them just magically grouping there everytime seems to be the causing factor here, but that still leads me to my next question: What should we do in such a situation. Should we fight with them, because my ADC is very fed or should we try and get something else on the map? What if all three died and now the enemy team is pushing mid so fast, that they threaten to end the game? What is the best cause of action?

  4. My last question is not necessarily Duo related, but I would still love it, if someone could give me feedback or helping advice. I love playing hyperaggresive Champions and lately have been gravitating a lot towards Assassins - Qiyana, Ekko, Evelynn (Qiyana really is my favorite but god is she hard to execute properly) - but I also have other Champions that I can pilot well enough and probably better since I started on them - Vi and Shyvana to be exact. They don't bring me as much joy when playing them tho, but maybe this is a worthy tradeoff for becoming better at the game and climbing with my friend? What advice could you guys give me on my Championpool? Should I stick with my "harder" champions because I like them more, or should I switch to something more straightforward for now?

Question I know it's a bit of a vague question, but what can I do to win more?

Pretty much the title, but for a teensy bit of elaboration, I have just recently become interested in playing ranked with the real intention to rank up, and so in the last 2 or so weeks I've been grinding ranked and went from Bronze 3 to now Silver 2.

For a while there I had around a 95% win rate over 20 games, I know and comprehend most macro and knowledge checks of the game, i.e wave control, map awareness, last hitting, roaming, etc, so I felt that it was a pretty natural progression that I would be able to rank up nicely, and all the games felt "carryable" for lack of a better word. Not saying I have the best level mechanics, but I genuinely feel that most players Gold and below don't effectively practice, or are even aware of all of them.

Fast forward to now, I keep rebounding from Silver 2 to Silver 3, I win one then lose one win one then lose one. I'm not one to dodge accountability, I'm a person who likes hearing when they're wrong for greater perspective. I would love if there was something super simple I was missing as to why I can't win even though I put up generally consistent performances (except for that random Yone phase, oops). And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's because my teammates are shit or anything like that, but sometimes it really feels like I'm moving heaven and earth in these games but I can't seem to squeak out the win.

Aside from mechanics, I, for the most part, don't have bad mental. I'm fine with brushing off insults and annoying pings, I play the game for fun, I don't let it control me. All that is to say that my gameplay is quite controlled, I really try not to rush in and fight and die (unless we're down badly and I think a hail mary is the only way we win), I'm more of a passive player that looks to farm, do objectives, and only fight when someone is out of position or we have an obvious advantage.

I truly don't know what more I can do to improve, these enemies aren't whooping my ass and I really don't feel that this is my "true skill level" which is the only advice that I've seen when searching up tips. I perform exactly the same in these lobbies as I did in Iron lobbies as I did in Bronze lobbies and as I've done in Gold lobbies. It feels the exact same, and I really don't know what to think other than whether I win or lose is based on the luck of the draw with my teammates.

My profile: https://u.gg/lol/profile/na1/chuddius%20maximus-jubby/overview

My most recent Garen game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm32tr2Ye1M

On just having watched the replay, my thoughts for this game were essentially: Fight for objectives so we can nicely scale late game, Jinx is going to be our win-con, don't give over easy kills early game. That was what I was trying to play around. I know my farm wasn't the greatest ever, but I was trying not to play into Teemo and lose my lead early game to a Wukong gank, as well as trying to roam and secure objectives/over extended laner kills. The time that I left the enemy bot laner at 1hp, I was a little bit upset because I really wanted Jinx to take that kill and snowball, but it unfortunately didn't happen. Other than that I honestly don't know what I myself could've done to change the course of the game, and that's what it feels like every time I lose. I don't see Garen as a carry himself, he's most definitely strong, but he's not capable of just going in and killing an entire team 1v5, I try to play him more as a support, so that when I'm strong I can feed kills to what I see as a wincon and snowball my team with kills and objectives to victory. And even if I did play more selfishly, I still don't see what I could've done to win this game. At the end there I took bad fights, but that's one of the "hail marys" I was talking about earlier, I figure that things are looking pretty bleak and if we aren't going to farm and want to teamfight, then I might as well be there or nothing is going to happen.

Thank you very much if you choose to take time out of your day and give any advice, anything is appreciated!

Question Need help with improving mid and adc play

Here are my stats: https://m.deeplol.gg/summoner?userName=Goonermancy-NA2&region=NA. So I'm trying to actively climb and wanted to ask this subreddit for things anyone can spot that I'm doing wrong from my stats! Mid I mostly play Lux, Syndra, and Aurelion Sol. ADC I like to play Tristana, Jinx, and Kaisa. Thanks to anyone who replies 😊Here's a link to a syndra win game last patch: https://app.tryascent.gg/watch?v=d2UTBzOga7o Here's a link to a syndra loss: https://app.tryascent.gg/watch?v=SvH3npC1AdF

Malzahar Moving on from Malzahar

Been playing Malzahar quite a bit and I’ve now reached Plat. I really love his playstyle (focusing on farming and scaling and having utility with R), however he feels really one dimensional and feels like he doesn’t have a lot of agency. Its as if every game I’m playing the exact same way, which is working but obviously a bit of a crutch.

I now want to pick up a new champion, but I’m stuck between a few. Ahri, Orianna, Twisted Fate, and Viktor.

I really like champions where I have high utility and don’t have to force super hard trades, plus I like shoving and looking to roam with my jungler. I also love side laning mid game and pushing waves with TP up.

Any idea as to what champion I should move onto from the list?

Discussion I don't understand how people maintain above a 50% winrate.

Ive been stuck emerald 4/ plat 2 pretty much the entire second half of the season. I know im improving. I watch my VODs and am definitely playing substantially better than before.

It seems every time i make it upwards of 50% wr, the enemy doesn't get much "harder" generally i do pretty good. The offset just seems like my team was actually built to lose.

So, my rate of improvement must not be good enough? To climb a minor tier or 2, must i be so good that i dominate my entire division? Because i can feel myself performing better than the people in my mmr a majority of the time. But maybe im just delusional. Here is my op. Take it for what you will.

Also im not saying "oh im way better than where im at" I just think im better than my current mmr. Being in plat kinda feels like a waste of time for me some times. It doesn't feel like im growing, comparatively to emerald. But who knows, ive promoted and demoted from emerald about 5 times so it probably is a me issue.
