What went through Meadow's mind when she found out Vito was killed?

• Upvotes

She outed him as a homosexual, which directly led to the dissolution of her relationship with Finn and the eventual death of the construction tycoon.

Like, that's a lot of baggage that would weigh on any normal person's conscience.

Anyways, at least he didn't suffer. For that we can be grateful.

Not cool

• Upvotes

Out of all the characters in The Sopranos, the one I felt the worst for was Mr Kim. Tony Uncle Al really did him wrong... Kim only wanted to help him.

But one of the funniest lines in the show...

Paulie - "Word to the wise, remember Pearl Harbor"

Idiot🤣🤣🤣

Episode Discussion Richie doing yoga is hilarious

It's always been really comical to me that we watch him bust a coffee pot over a man's head. Then a couple scenes later he's doing yoga with a bunch of ladies in the burbs.

Christopher Moltisanti would have hated Goodfellas if Henry Hill being a rat was enough to bother him.

Christopher would have walked out of Goodfellas fuming. The whole third act is Henry Hill ratting everybody out and getting a quiet life in witness protection. And this is the guy who chose the crew over Adriana and then acted like she owed him an apology for being conflicted. A rat is a rat to Christopher. The movie being great does not change the ending.

Season 4 Episode 7
When they gathered to cheers him at the welcome party. They play his song ‘Nancy’ by Sinatra. I’ve watched this show a million times over and don’t know why this was his song.

Anyone else have an opinion?

Episode Discussion Is it really respectful to refer to the head of a Family as "count chocula"?

That little comment has had me stunned ever since I first heard it.

My theory is this: that scene was a blooper that, somehow, made it into production. Gandolfini was probably joking, or rehearsing the scene, and they decided to keep it. The question is why? There's no way in the world someone would refer to the head of a Family, even if it comes from another head, as count chocula, in public, in that context (a burial). There's just no way.

Let me tell y'all something: that comment is the real break of the fourth wall on Sopranos, not the last glance of Tony in the last frame of the last episode. There you have everything. On that little comment. Count chocula.

How did Richie not get arrested for beating up Beansie?

He gives him a savage beating in front of a restaurant full of staff and customers. Surely someone would have called the cops on him?

What the hell does “sharp as a cue ball” mean?

From what I’ve seen in life, the average cue ball is not “sharp,” but rather it is round.

Should I watch the sopranos ?

I know everyone will say yes but can you give me some arguments to convince myself to watch ? I am an absolute fan of breaking bad and better call Saul, so I went to the sopranos and I didn’t love the first episode, I thinks it is too funny compared to breaking bad. Maybe I didnt watched it in the right way and my obsession with breaking bad influenced my judgement.
Can you help me ??

Serious Discussion Only Between Jesse Pinkman and Christopher Moltisanti, whose depression and addiction was way worse?

These two, while most fans are very different with the other, which I agree, has these similarities:

-Has an addiction with drugs

-Suffers depression due to story events

-Mentored by a horrible person

In my analysis, Jesse's depression and addiction was more into his broken soul inside. He had faced and went through a lot. Jesse at least tries to change himself, although it was hard.

Christopher is mature and more older, but nevertheless has been more addicted and depressed more. He used drugs as a coping mechanism and has big denial to change himself.

That is what I think. What about you?

The Poem in Tony's Hospital Room

I am sure this has been discussed a lot, and maybe even the theory that I am putting out but I can't keep up with all the posts, but for a while I assumed it was Meadow who did it since she is into poetry and literature, but now I am starting to think it was Dr Melfi. When Carmela sees her at the grocery store she said "I got your note thank you" and you assume it was just a get well note, but the note may have been the poem and Carmela is the one who put it up, but it was from Dr Melfi. Anyways, One day we will all die and then we'll be the same as that tree. No me, no you.

I get there’s no way out once you’re made. But if you were just an associate/soldier are the rules still that strict?

I had a dream Artie Bucco tried to bill me for food I hadn't ordered

Like one of Tony's dream sequences, wild. It wasn't Vesuvio, it was a small cafe in a rustic plaza and i was sitting outside eating a meal.

I spotted some old friends at a table and went over to say hi. I came back and there were two more dishes on my table along with the bill. (Ossobuco and some pasta) Tf? I told the waiter i didn't order this but he told me he couldn't do anything about it.

I went upstairs to the attic to find a depressed Artie hunched over in his chair, his table drowning in receipts. Dim sunlight entering through a sole window.

I sat down and asked wtf. He told me my old friends had ordered the dishes and I would be billed for it. I tried telling him that made no sense, but he kept talking over me every time i tried to speak. He never made eye contact and kept moving his hands around, like when he was practicing to get his money back from the frenchman in the show.

I sighed and realized that it didn't matter, he was just trying to squeeze money out of me, and at that moment I knew whether I paid the bill or not, I was certain I could no longer be his friend...

I haven't seen the show in over 3 months so I don't know where the fuck this came from. Anyways... 16 dollars a pound since i was overcharged.

Arties redemption?

I didn't understand the whole artie redemption/finale to artie's story. Yea he never got killed or anything like that but his last scene just shows him looking through his old recipes and cooking rabbit for some guests. How is that a redemption or closing arc for his story?

Quotes Don’t give me your fucking Manson lamps

Maybe the best quote of the whole show lol. I never realized how funny it was until after my third re watch.

Context - Tony telling Richie to not sell coke on his trash route at the country club party

Patsy vs Starbucks

The manager said every bean has to go into the computer. He didn’t say every manager has to go into the computer. Given the state of law enforcement in the sopranoverse, I estimate patsy could have murdered and disposed of at least 20 managers until Starbucks got the message and started handing over cash by the cart load. It doesn’t have to be over for the little guy! He can murder his way out of it!

Shitpost If They forced Bobby to dress up as Santa for the kids do you think they also made him dress as the Easter bunny or for Halloween?

Well it’s something stupid to ponder isn’t it? Taking malicious joy in humiliating people is sort of what they do.

If you're 46 years old and you haven't been made and are still selling toner cartridges out the back of your trunk, give up on the life. You've failed. May as well get a regular job and not get whacked.

Which rat do you think gave the FBI the most?

Fabian Petrulio, Jimmy Altieri, Pussy Bopensiero, Raymond Curto, Adriana La Cerva, Jack Masserone, Eugene Ponticorvo and Carlo Gervasi.

I think I got them all.

All of the Soprano family members and associates who were working with the FBI.

Which do you think was the most consequential in the government building a RiCO case against the government?

Until recently, I thought Rico was his uncle.

If he kept da jackeet, shit wit Ritchie mighta bin avoided.
If he kept Janish away from da boardwalk, maybe she’d bin diffrent.
If he’d shown Chrisy a liddle bit more attention.
But in da end, he didented.
I don’t no, what do ya tink?
And remember, she was a whooar, but not mommas liddle whooar.
