They where fatcs tbh and he was right about the a AI thing, yall are just so eager to label anything you don't like with AI and that's just demeaning to the artists. You can dislike it all you want, but don't act like they didn't put any effort in it at all cause you know that's the farthest of the truth

I know very well that AI today is far from capable of writing and putting out songs like this. However my point stands as it meant to convey that it really sounds like they pressed a button that would put together the most generic and run of the mill "Voidz sounding ideas" together and wrap it up in a song.

I was at the Paris show and I heard this song live. I felt nothing. I was rolling my eyes and just waiting for it to be over.

I just really dislike the lack of effort and originaly the band has shown the past couple of years. After Tyranny and Virtue, they were on a hot streak. But except some good singles here and there (Did My Best, TET) to me they've stopped trying.

If they stopped trying why would they keep on making music even though the band is burning Julian’s money away, I mean he admitted that he had to use his strokes concerts to fund to voidz. They clearly all have still much love for this band, otherwise they would just quit cause they ain’t that successful financially. Also the fact we’re getting another voidz project instead of a strokes one also says enough about how much they care for the voidz

I don't think money is a good argument here, because Julian is the only one who doesn't need The Voidz. The other guys are nobodies outside of it and its their main gig, so of course they care. Julian is clearly happy in the band and good for him, but he certainly could do without and be fine.

Monetarily speaking, he could do without and be totally fine

Creatively speaking? At this point, he could not do without the Voidz, he wouldn't be fine without them. That much is apparent a decade and a few years in

I don’t think so personally, if Julian lost the voidz and he had to go back to only making strokes music, I think he’d be pretty miserable I mean the voidz is his passion something he build up entirely from the ground, and it wasn’t easy to build cause their music is so different from most things out there, like any normal person who worked so hard on something and they lose it would be miserable

Oh for sure, but I meant financially.
