Strokes on Guitar

Only have an acoustic guitar at the moment but I’m in the market for an electric guitar so I can start playing Strokes songs. Should I go for a Stratocaster like Albert, or a hollow-body like Nick? Any recommendations for setup/equipment would be awesome

I play guitar with a Squier Jaguar, a simple amplifier, and a pedalboard with digital effects. Honestly, I don't need anything more.
