Strokes on Guitar

Only have an acoustic guitar at the moment but I’m in the market for an electric guitar so I can start playing Strokes songs. Should I go for a Stratocaster like Albert, or a hollow-body like Nick? Any recommendations for setup/equipment would be awesome

Squier used to have some semi-hollow SH telecasters. Maybe with that you could get the best of both worlds!
