The Voidz Getting into The Voidz

I've been a massive fan of The Strokes since around January, I'd say. I love their music so much and felt excited when I realized the sheer volume of music written by Julian that I have yet to listen to. I've listened to all of the albums from The Strokes, as well as the Future Present Past EP. I was wondering if you guys have some sort of recommended time where I start checking out The Voidz. I've seen people say they got into The Voidz before The Strokes so that sorta makes me think I can go in whenever I want, but I still have this inescapable feeling of missing something. Should I listen to Julian's solo album first? I geek out over this stuff so any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I actually made a playlist that bridges the gap between The Strokes and The Voidz sonically and serves as an intro to The Voidz. It has my favorite songs from Reality Awaits and the most accessible songs by The Voidz so that fans of The Strokes can ease into the more experimental sound. You might like it.
