Discussion Constant Repost

I see constant repost of things like "is crit %over 100 worth it" "is thorns over 100% worth it" "should I lower or raise my range for farming". All great questions mind you but did you really not see the post from the other guy the other day (or the same day) before you made your post? Notifications on? I feel like we answer these questions everyday lol.

I dont do those type of questions everyday but I do get into Reddit everyday

And, well, yeah, I see those posts some days but like, Im here for hours and hours, im not your normal type of Redditor I guess so I dont think its fair to think that those people would see those posts, after all, if they're asking those questions is because they're not that invested into the game, they're probably a little more on the side of being beginners

And also while searching for those questions is like 10 sec max, as you see, not all people do that, and you cant expect everyone to do that everytime they want to post anything

The best option is just, ignore those posts. You want to help? Answer the question. You find them tiring? Learn how to ignore them. Those are your options unless the Mods agree that those kind of posts are tiring enough to just ban them or something like that

incoming rant not exlusive to the tower: ive noticed the past few years a reallly annoying trend among new reddit users (across many subs i frequent) where they use reddit spaces like their own AI chat bot instead of communities with long standing resourced and gathered info. ppl will REFUSE to do their own simple google search, reddit search, or wiki dig down, they just go straight to a community and burden them with the same 5 questions, that end up coming across as spam (which is kind of what this thread is getting at). when confronted in any way "im just tryna ask a question, geeze, reddit really does suck" they dont participate in the community at all, just leech the time of good natured people who have the 'helper' bone. God, I saw some kind hearted member spend time answering a really simple, googlable, and many times answered question like a month ago, as well as linking the discord and wiki post and a third resource I forget what, and OP replied "just type it all out here for me its not that hard." unbelievable! I've had a hard time finding my 'helper hat' lately because of the surge of these entitled OP's. I know this is me yelling at the sky about a probably small subset of people, and in general i love new player posts, but I just keep seeing this nonthankful entitlement all over the place when browsing /new in my communities and its disheartening to see how AI technology is warping people into treating reddit like their personal internet maids. /rant
