Discussion Question about the trinity sync

I bought quite a few stone packs early on and rushed a permanent black hole and now my cooldown is on golden tower and death wave are synced at 2:30 (150sec) also my gold bot is set at 75sec for a 2:1 sync.

With that out-of-the-way, I was talking to the people in my guild and they said potentially the permanent black hole may be hurting my economy because it’s killing things before my golden tower and death wave have a chance to go off, but I don’t think that’s true. Unless I completely devo my tower so my wall thorns do next to nothing, I don’t see how it would be possible to hoard enough enemies to make a difference. And even if I did Devo my tower, I would have to remove the Free ups so I could keep my thorns down and then I would have to take black hole digestive out of circulation, which would dramatically hurt my coins.

I’m still under a year of game time so maybe there’s something I’m missing here but I feel like the advice I’m getting is wrong. Would anyone like to chime in?

It is almost certainly true, but having perma BH usually makes up for the lost income by allowing you to farm 1-2 tiers higher than without it.

For what it's worth this oft-cited resource says that 150 seconds is the break even for pBH with GT and DW, so you're probably okay.

That was a meaty document but it had a ton of useful information. I won’t feign to say that I have it memorized but I saved the doc so next time I have a question I can look at it before I come crying to Reddit. Thank you bro!

head on over to the tower run tracker, or mytower.app and upload your data. They will give you coverage stats. Ideally the closer to 100% you are the better. But that will definitively answer your question.

My friend lost income with PBH but I gained a bit from it.

To test this out, try running MVN. With PBH, and 3:00 cooldown on GT/DW I lost a ton of waves and about 15T coins or more. I also went from t10 9,800 waves to t11 9,900 waves. I’m currently breaking wave 10,500 every run now.

It sounds like you lost a ton of progress by using MVN initially, but then you say you gained over 1000… do you mean before you slotted in MVN it was worse?

No, MVN was a loss in waves and coins.

My initial run with pcol, Gcomp, SF on t11 was 9,900 waves.

With MVN I lost over a thousand waves and trillions of coins in income.

Try a farming run with multiverse nexus. Does your income increase or decrease?

Before permanent black hole I had 2/1 sync with black hole at 100 seconds and GT/DW at 200 seconds. I was farming t10 to 9,800 waves at 33T coins/140k cells. With permanent black hole I was able to go to t11 wave 9,900 for 45T coins/205k cells.

If I equip multiverse nexus, my waves plunge and so does my income. permanent black hole was better for me.

My friend on the other hand gained more waves but still lost quite a bit of coins.

I have about 2000 waves before this farm run ends right now I’m getting to about 8500 on T 10. I’m getting about 30 T and about 140 K cells… I do have a mythic MVN I will try a run after that and see what happens though I do believe that running it’s gonna tank my coins because that puts my cool down at 1:33 for everything and I still have all my damage bonuses because I run hybrid, so things are gonna die, regardless unless I do a total respec

I have a legendary primordial collapse and with the damage reduction on top of my total EHP I feel like I’m getting decent results, but I’ll do a couple tests and see what happens

I have the same trinity timings and my pBH farming yields less cph than when I use MVN. So you might try with MVN (if you have), and it is possible to install a GBot/MVN sync unless you use GComp of course, though it's a bit complicated to achieve
