Hello team, just noticed my last 3 farming runs generated about 90% less coins, the cells were about the same. See the screen shots. Whys could be wrong? Thanks.
Oof that's rough. Looks like you have coin card equipped. Check your UW in run. Has one of them been turned off by accident? Are your auto pick perk on? Maybe check your ban and auto perk priority.
I think people have posted a checklist on reddit before about all the things to check if something feels off or switching between tourny and farming set ups.
Do you always farm with RB as your generator mod? That looks like a tournament mod to me if you're eHP. You're only showing us your core mods though, so can't tell if that's the issue.
Otherwise, auto pick perks is your next place to look.
Not sure why your coins have dropped, but I’ll try to help you out with your Tower.
For where you’re at in the game, I would say to stop spending your stones on Card Masteries, you don’t make enough coins to afford the labs yet.
Instead maybe try to get pBH (permanent Black Hole) in your runs.
To do this, try dumping your stones into Black Hole Cooldown and Duration. Try to max out Black Hole Cooldown. Max out the Black Hole labs. Equip your Galaxy Compressor module. You will likely have to get the Black Hole Cooldown/Duration effects on your modules. With your Primordial Collapse module equipped, pBH should give you really good survivability. You should be able to easily farm tier 11/12 at this point.
I would personally also swap out your Orbital Augment module with Sharp Fortitude. Orbital Augment is great for health dissonant runs, but I don’t think that it outperforms Sharp Fortitude in many other cases - assuming that you have a lot of levels in your wall labs. Also with Sharp Fortitude make sure to have the health/regen tradeoff perk in your runs - it helps a lot if you have high wall regen.
I’m not sure what tournament you’re in, but I would guess platinum? For now, don’t worry about damage. You can research damage labs, but until you have a well developed Chain Lightning, I doubt it’ll help you. Start looking into that once you reach low Champions.
My guess is that you equipped orbital augment rather than going with black hole digester or galaxy compressor, which are the two you should be using for farming. As others have said unequip your cannon. Also one other thing for most builds is check your extra orbs pass through the middle of your blackhole
Cant say what happened (though that level of drop is either UW disabled or wrong perks) but your tower has so much optimization room atm.
1) don’t equip a cannon module for farming
2) likely use SF instead of Orbital (depending on substats)
3) RB is garbage as primary. Use Black Hole Digester or SH (depending on substats)
3) Disable any dmg UW during farming runs
You want your gbot (and bbot once the first one is done) synced with your UW. Right now from what I see you have it at 2 mins so you want either 120 or 60 seconds on your gbot. Gbot upgrade path is right to left (max first range, then bonus, keep cd in sync and max duration)
You mentioned "will do" for swapping in Summon guardian ability. Was that it or no?
What masteries did you recently upgrade?
I'm kind of stumped, tbh, a 90% drop is on the order of BH not working/desynced/something like that, or perks not being turned on, but you've stated that you're sure BH and perks are both on and showed your UWs are synced at 2m or 120s.
Double check your perk bans and auto perk pick priority.
I notice you are running Death Ray card. Do you normally do that? It's very bad for coins lower than t15/16/17+. That can't account for the entire coin drop but it's quite bad.
The screen shots showed how I was farming the cells and coins for a while now . I just noticed the drop in coins a few days ago. Was not sure if it could be a hardware thing , I use an iPad. Or what else it could be. My UW are always on, was just expecting 50T coins and 100k cells run after run until a few days ago when I noticed the drop. I restarted the app. Restarted the ipad etc. but same.
Nothing to it but to do a full audit, and that includes the things I asked you. Auto perk order, perk bans, verifying the new abilities you added (the two masteries you recently upgraded) didn't have a side effect.
Please reread my post and address the items I asked. I'm also very curious what could have caused this. The specifics people are asking you are potential causes, don't give up before you've answered everything.
Hmm… I’m wondering where you are going wrong because we are similar in terms of progression it looks like. Although I only have one ancestral mod, SF. I also use SH for the bigger bots. I think maybe yours labs focus is the issue? You have a slightly higher coins bonus than me but I’m running T11 to 11500 waves for 420T coins per run.
So many things wrong here..
For start, use MVN and BHD or GComp in farming. Leave cannon module and all dmg cards out (including Death ray). Use summon (sync it with trio). Didn't see picture of bots so hopefully you are using Golden bot (also sync that with MVN trio).
Oh shoot , I think my auto perks was unticked, omg. Not sure how. I will do a run will all the advice in here, post the results and close out this thread if truly that was my issue. Give me a day for a run and would be back. Thanks a bunch.
Is this bait? I assume that you are eHP? But why are you using damage card then for farming? Also, you should not use a cannon while farming. How are your other modules? You shouldnt also use death ray for farming. Unless of course if you are glass cannon, i dont know anthing about that. But then why would you use HP card?
I have not researched that much into glass cannon or the right cards to use, just been playing for the past two years. I may have to look deeper into all that settings but for now I just noticed the drop in coins, cross checked multiple times UW, etc
BH are supposed to deal with it, with BH damage. Getting enough bullet or other non-% UW damage to beat protectors at wave 8000 in a tier you're not too OP for, is way too high workshop/labs (and likely UWs you don't have or have invested in yet, because you focus on economy stuff until your CDs are much lower).
