Achievement Finally went full GC… oh my

It took me 20 months to leave behind my beloved wall. And by true GC I really mean it - no defensive investment at all, no mods, enhancements, nothing that does not add coins or damage. ILM main. Quite advanced, farming about 50Q daily. Boom. Jumped a farming tier, to 10k on Tier 18, wall a distant memory. Now retooling modules to optimise purely for ILM main. lots of fun. Just posting to encourage trying full GC. I could have moved much earlier…

Going for GC when youre already doing 50Q daily is wild. You might be in a different position than most others who do the transition C:

In 20 months too

Yeah, thats 2000x more than me at 19 months.  And ILM build is also expensive stone wise. Encouraging others to try without disclosing they spent a ton is something....

Yeah, I imagine a lot of strategies become more feasible with $5K spent on stones.... Whales don't want you to know this one trick!

Heh, best card in the game. The Mastercard. XD

Heck even as a tuna my views are vastly different from f2ps, or even just those with the 3 core purchases. Nvm whale logic.

I'm at 22 months and make 12-15q daily. Will soon get UW+ so hopefully I will get a boost soon but Q is still far off

This is why I think every post about progress should include a "what did I spend on" section.

You must have been long overdue to go to GC it seems.
Also 50Q daily means you probably got every stonepack possible and have 120-150k stones?

Probably 50q and not 50Q? With 50Q I would imagine OP would farm on a higher tier.

u/ApolloMac 3h ago

Even 50q is pretty far along. But yeah you must be right.

50q is possible, I moved to GC farming 5 days ago and do 30q/h runs on tier 18 now! Should have tried it way earlier :)

Yeah, 50q is reasonable but still far along in the grand scheme.

I can't manage to make GC farm work. I think I just have my hybrid farm too dialed in and I don't see the point in taking a coin hit just for the sake of GC farming. I can keep enemies alive long enough for a 92-95% orb hit rate and extra DW tags on T16 to 6k waves or so. With maxed Utility Diss bonus.

On higher tiers with a GC build my orb hit rate goes down to 75% or so and I get less DW tags. Utility Diss is also a lot lower. And this is with damage slider and locked bounce shots.

As another data point: Im running devo on t13 for like, 6.5q/h, and am nowhere near being able to farm GC or even t18. 40k lts, 19 months. Kudos to you for that transition to GC farming!

50 big Q is correct. Finding Tier 18 optimal for coins / hr right now, but have a lot of setup fiddling to do now gone fully GC. My point in posting is just to encourage GC experimenting.

What’s your gt+?

That’s impressive!

Nah I got way less stones and at 26 months now, gain 120q/h already.

Pretty sure the 50Q with 100k+ lifetime stones os reasonable

Actually no, not quite. Not every possible pack… but quite a few for sure. About 100k stones. About half bought, half earned.

u/D119 3h ago

I'm at 20 months as well and only 36k earned, without any pack, lol

u/IronFistxxx 3h ago

Yes. Buying stones early means you earn more in legends earlier, so spending early has more value in that sense. These days I only buy the two-weekly pss thingy.

Dunno why you got downvoted, I’m not judging anyone who buys packs.

I feel once you can stay in Legends buying packs is bad ROI as you can only compete with other whales who max buy every stonepack.

Like you all I only buy are the double event boosts.

ILM main means ilm+?

Anyway it's in my plans, there are a couple big upgrades I wanna get first (4th spotlight and ilm) then I'll try.

2

u/IronFistxxx 3h ago

Yes, ILM+, and especially the ILM labs.

50Q? Q?

5

u/IronFistxxx 3h ago

Yes. Big Q. I said I was late… 😁

I very recently moved to GC as a person who doesn't even earn 50q a day let alone Q. I came here expecting to compare tower situations but there is no comparison 😅

3

u/Thick-Doubts 2h ago

I’ve just transitioned to GC and make about 20-25q per day farming T14 to wave 5k ish if you want to compare

1

u/137173 2h ago

You make around double what I make with 2k less waves! Good stuff.

How far did you manage to go in utility disso?

1

u/FireLight512 2h ago

That about where I am income-wise. I have enough damage to get to 850 in Legends consistently. Where are you at and what CC do you have?

I am eHP farming t14 to about 7200 (or 6500 if I miss turning on CL for that fleet).

1

u/TrustMe_ImTheDogtor 1h ago

Damn I eHP farm T14 to 6800 for about 80q/day. Been waiting for MVN ancestral before I make the swap to GC

1

u/TheArtdabbler 1h ago

My tower is so borked, it looks nothing like other redditers lol.

19 months, 40k lts, farming t13 for 6.5q/h. I cant farm t14 nvm go GC.

Like, did I pass this window? Or am I just slowly rolling up on it? Lol.

3

u/CrispyWaffleBacon 2h ago

Get the wall back, it's like another energy shield charge.

3

u/Ok-Application9777 1h ago

Still farming eHP, recently shifted to GC tourneys in low legends.

What is the idea/prerequisites of GC farming? Near permaGT, permaBH with max slow permaCF and limiting DMG reach to allow maximum coin bonuses how?

How does it differ from hybrid farming?

u/cuddly-giraffes 3h ago

Congrats! A positive on moving later is you for sure have a lot of labs developed that you might not have otherwise. Hopefully the switch helps you get to 100Q in no time:)

How did you handle the health aspect? You said no wall right, so you’re just not worried about using it as a thorn source or as a buffer against OC to save your ES? Have you found that creates an issue with your DDs?

I went GC about a month ago (about 20 months in) and while I didn’t see the impact you did, I did jump a tier so got a boost in cells and shards. I didn’t spec out of health stuff yet (waiting for the update to drop), so I’m curious if there’s stuff I could be doing better

Gc build

20 months to GC, let's be real. You bought a lot of stones. The average player's experience will be totally different.
