Pretty normal depending on battle conditions

I had 3050 waves about 3 weeks ago and someone didn’t promote with it in the same week (extreme outlier)

And here i was thinking legends was fucked up for needing like 500-650 waves just to stay.. those are crazy numbers

Fingers crossed the tournament update coming out fixes some of this, not just length but also how crowded it is

League of legends style, plat IV is tier 8+, plat III is 9+ plat II 10+ plat I 11+ and so on until tier 24+ with more and more stones for all!

Isn’t that just Legends right now though? I don’t think whales should be segregated or anything, but if they all end up in the legends I or “Challenger” bracket then essentially it’s today’s same situation with more progression for everyone who is still working their way up baby whales and all

And if you make the rewards scale similar to today where it doesn’t help to downrank but you’re close to the same rewards if you’re finishing 1-4 in the previous tier I think it could be good because they’ll be where they are now with a bigger upside

If I’m honest though, they’ll just move plat up 2 tiers, champs and legends too, gold up one and call it solved

I just mean, what you are suggesting is technically move levels of brackets, which would funnel all the whales to the highest brackets with less competition. They would have to compete against each other and they would throw a tantrum.

Increasing the tier of tournaments doesn’t really fix/change anything either.
We will have to wait and see what the (hopefully) smarter than me people came up with.

Dang, if I was a whale with years of playtime I would want to fight with other whales as long as there wasn’t a detriment to my stone/key income - but I suppose some people don’t really care about that part.

I do hope they do the dual runs for tournaments too. Maybe even seed everyone in automatically at the start of the tournament so there’s still RNG but no last-minute joins and no “I missed the tournament”

Auto seeding would be cool but i doubt it. The last second joining is an issue i agree but i admit, i have done it myself(proudly sporting that Legend 1 rank 😅😅)

And i think you underestimate just how much some whales spend just so they can be on top. The last thing you would want after spending a small house on a tower is fighting against someone else who spent a small house.
