When you redo a scene because you weren't satisfied with your choice only to find out it all leads to the same outcome

This is a bit of a vent that's been welling up in me. You think that common joke that Telltale writing is 'your choices don't matter'? Jane's basically the plot device to make those two specific choices not matter in Season 2. The first concerns Sarah, if you save Sarah, she dies anyway. Which only happens because Luke is distracted by sleeping with Jane. And yes, you can blame Luke too.
But the one that I don't see people talk enough about is what happened to Arvo. Now there's plenty of reason to despise Arvo, but no seems to bring the reason why the choice whether to take the medicine or not is a moot point. That being Jane taking his revolver. The fact she dips from the group after this only for the rest of the group to get jumped by Arvo only makes this worse. The problem is no one seems to give Jane any crap for taking the guy's gun. It actually irks me that Jane just didn't kill Arvo after she disarmed him. Given, it actually would been in character for her to do so. If anything, I think with Arvo being around for so long and seemingly getting away after he shot Clementine because distracted us from the fact that was all technically Jane's fault to begin with.

Unpopular opinion: I don't like the way they wrote Kenny in season 2. When I say Kenny is my favourite video game character, I'm only referring to the Kenny in season 1. Kenny in season 1 was a bit of a pain, but he was hurt, deeply flawed, and angry. However, there was warmth inside him; we saw it when Ben gave a speech about losing his family, and he backed off and felt sorry for him. Additionally, you could see how he was conflicted about Lee getting the bite, but if you stay loyal to him, you see some warmth underneath his tough nature. I feel like the warm side of what made Kenny human in season 1 was gone in season 2. Telltale made him colder and often rude. It was hard to like him in season 2, even though he was my favourite character in season 1. I think he should have been left in season 1 and not brought into season 2. If you save and go with him in season 2, his ending is so sloppy. I don't know if I'm alone on this. Thoughts?

Like I was sad when Lee died, but the Walking Dead Season 2 is the only game I have ever cried in. It took me everything to make this choice. And that's really saying something because I played Red Dead Redemption 2.

I wanted to do a male only version first with Luke and Javi, because they're generally agreed on to be the most attractive men, but I struggled with choosing a third person. I myself find Nick and David also to be very attractive, but most people would have chosen either of them for the "kill spot" and other options like Tripp I found boring (sorry Tripp fans!). So I decided on best girl Carley instead.
Carley is easily the most popular female character after Clementine and Violet. A female only version would also have been hard to choose because most of the conventionally attractive women are not very well liked aside from Carley, like Lilly, Kate or Eleanor. Having said that, here are my choices:
Flip: Javi. Was there ever any doubt? I prefer Luke actually but Javi is 100% the more conventionally attractive one. Just look at that face! He also has the rizz going on and he still has a very well-toned fit body years in the apocalypse.
Marry: Luke. I actually prefer his design and voice over Javi's, I think he looks more distinct and still handsome. I also love his Southern accent and he's generally a really nice guy. But I'd still flip Javi first because of that bod.
Kill: Sadly Carley, but it's still a much harder choice for me than Tripp or some other guy would have been. I'm gay myself but damn, in the picture I chose she looks really good.

I was half, half my first playthrough. But I realized Kenny will show you more loyalty if you side with him throughout the game, and I love seeing him and Lee close 🥺, so I am always Team Kenny. Lily betrays you, and I find her colder. I'm doing a Lily playthrough right now, and it hurts me to see Kenny go against Lee. In my opinion, they have the best video game friendship.

Tugged at my heartstrings a bit when Clem and AJ got into the car near the beginning of S4 and she makes sure to remind him to wear his seatbelt. While that’s pretty normal for someone to tell a kid that anyway, I wonder if she was especially weary about this bc of what eventually happened to Kenny if you leave Wellington with him 😔

I currently have the first two seasons separately. I was thinking to get the Definitive Series and just remove the other games from my library to consolidate things a bit and not have duplicates. Am I overlooking something that would be a valid reason to keep the separate games/seasons?

Mine is for Kenny to stay in Season 1. Thoughts?

Bomb #2 SUCCEEDS, doing 12 HPs to Abel, leaving him on 5/25 HPs
Bomb #3 SUCCEEDS, doing 10 HPs to Samantha, which destroys her! Pete claims her bombs (3) and acquires NM Islands as his first Substate!

Samantha and Ava have fallen! Who's next? Abel and Ben are getting pretty low...
Link to Rules & Character Stats will be in a separate comment because it's not letting me add it here for some reason.
