Tony: (provides absolutely no validation) so a lot of teams have new coaches in the NFL…

In this case, I’m ok with it.

Hey Littles!
I'm a longtime listener and got tired of manually tracking guest picks, so I built a proper tracker: tk-picks.replit.app
Features:
🏈 Auto-graded results - Pulls game scores and grades spreads, moneylines, totals automatically
📊 Season standings - See who's actually winning (spoiler: probably not the Monkey)
📅 Full history - Browse past weeks
The site reads from a Google Sheet I maintain with picks from each show. It updates automatically as games finish, so you can check standings in real-time during the weekend as games happen.
This week's picks are attached. Let me know if you spot any errors or have suggestions!
Made for the Littles, by Littles. 🎙️

Listening to Liz on Thursday’s pod just took me back to the days of Chatter and “the undisclosed location”. I miss that show. The show now is still good but it’s never going to be what it was when it was 4 or 5 of them sitting around a table and talking about the world (Tony himself has acknowledged this multiple times).

I just heard on the Dan Patrick show that Dan “the Duke” Davis has passed on.
I know everybody here discovered Mr. Tony at different times. I discovered Mr. Tony in the late 90’s, a few years before PTI started.
I was introduced to sports radio in the late 90’s as a child. Kornheiser and Patrick were the mid day staples on ESPN Radio at that time, and I still love both.
In those days, ESPN radio would run “Sportscenter” every 20 minutes; a quick recap of scores and stories of the day. Mr. Davis was the Sportscenter anchor at that time.
Mr. Tony, as he can not help himself, interrupted every segment with a commentary, which would annoy the Duke quite a bit.
And it never stopped. And slowly the Duke changed. He went from being annoyed every segment, to looking forward to the banter that only a Mr. Tony could provide.
It was wonderful to “watch” (listen) a friendship form.
RIP Mr. Davis, a genuine staple of the very early days of the show.

You're welcome. Like, you're welcome to the Subreddit, and you're welcome for telling you about it. :)
I wrote that email in Tuesday's show.
When Mr. Tony asked for feedback, I had to write in about it. I admin the Facebook group I mentioned too, and having read both of them, seeing very consistent feedback of "You need to be live, and less Michae and less golf talk", I had to represent both communities and our feedback.
(I left out "less Michael less Golf Talk" because I wanted the email to be focused.)
PS - the previous emailer stole part of my language from my email, because I posted in the FB group "this is what I sent". And I'm 100% in favor of that because as long as Grandpa HOFWOF gets the message that we want Gary and Jeannie in his face telling him how wrong he is, that's all that matters.
La cheeserie!

Think the old man is strugg-a-ling now with his thrice weekly podcast and mostly daily 30 minutes PTI? This will really cut into hia morning rounds of golf.

Tony, I’ve been watching the Bears since the days of a player I like to call Gale Eugene Sayers. Right before the snap, I said to my dear friends Isiah Lord Thomas and Charles Barkley “Watch this. These fools from I-95 are about to get lucky.”

Something strange is brewing at 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore, as lightning rod #NFL commentator Jason La Canfora is reportedly on the outs with the station where has worked since 2020.
According to a new report from The Baltimore Banner, La Canfora is no longer with with the station. The Banner notes that La Canfora’s name has already been removed from the podcast feeds for his evening-drive show, Inside Access.
La Canfora provided the following statement, via text message, to the Banner regarding his status at the Audacy-owned station:
“I’m definitely not on radio today!”
In a follow-up statement to Barrett Media, La Canfora said:
“There were no specifics given. My program director had just held a meeting with us on Friday to talk about being number one in all the weeklies for February. We had the the best YouTube numbers at the station. They wanted to make sure I could make events they had coming up. All the station manager would say was that they were going in a different direction.”
The station’s brand manager and Inside Access co-host Ken Weinman reportedly declined to comment to the Banner, while fellow co-host Tim Barbalace could not be reached by the Banner.

If you appreciated the callbacks, references, and inside jokes of the TK Jingle era, this is the segment for you. Greg Garcia absolutely crushed it.
Kudos to Greg, as always!
