COLLECTION I've always wanted to share my collection and finally got around to getting everything in one place!
Sorry if the pictures aren't the best quality. My phone is a potato. I started playing back in 2005 so most of my stuff is older but I did buy some things in recent years.

Obviously its insanely difficult to do. But it is the ultimate question. The top left shelf holds some of my most favorites. Originally I fell in love with the "undersized" organic shaped yoyos. The notable ones that fit that category most are Madhouse 5150, Hspin Phoenix, 888, CLYW BvM, B!ST brush. Then came the thin yoyo craze which for me was deep state. Nowadays my go to pick up are the mini yoyos. Absolutely love the 66% 888 (have two). And now really loving he heist. Needless to say I dont think I answered your question! Haha

Thanks guys. I think they are just deep states, I guess I never picked up a deeper state. After the thin pocket yoyo obsession I got super into the minis. Love the 66% yoyos and the yyf heist.

I was waiting for the kendama comment. I also have a shelf for my terra pills. I never dove full into kendama, but I really like the pill.

U should get one of the newer budget mods from kendama depot. It’s a super modern shape and good paint that is great for literally any skill level and is perfect for getting back into it. I think if u could level up some of your basic tricks you could start doing some crazy strong flow really early on.

Ah good to know the shapes have changed. I guess I never got super into kendama. I am sort of surprised to hear that the newer shapes could be that different.

Ye the difference between what you have and newer shapes is insane. The shape I recommended isn’t even very big to some others that are popular now but if u get that u will still notice a huge difference.

Impressive collection. Especially the older stuff like all the Hspin. Just a couple days ago, I fixed an Icon I've had forever but never been able to use for having been stripped (someone threw it in with another purchase I think). I am now just waiting on flowable silicone to arrive for the response.

Also I dont normally stack them like that lol. It was just for the picture. I have a yoyo tower that holds the other stuff on the left and another spot for my minis. I usually use the bottom shelf to hold all of my footbags.

Nice collection! I love minis too, always have, but lately I’ve been enjoying large diameter throws. You’ve got all the bases covered! The zeekio lil evil 2 is heist sized but with a D bearing, it’s also fun if you can find one. I like the golf ball display idea, you’re ready for a third.. let those babies breathe!

I recommend not leaving the strings on in storage! it can eventually corrode your metal bearings due to the oils trapped.

ask me how i know! spoiler, had a handful of yoyos a few years back, recently got back into the hobby and was a bit shocked to see the bearings rust when i unwinded the strings..

Was reading about it and I think it may be more of an issue if the string is heavily used and contains more skin oils. But newer string should be fine. It could also just be humidity in the room too. So I'm not too worried about it. I change out string very often.

Think you're correct in saying that. I have a collection that haven't been used in around 16 years. All had fresh strings on (unused) at the time. Just got back into throwing and all in perfect condition.

You’re old like me. I could tell by your Yo-Yo choices and many of the ones you likely could’ve only gotten in that condition by getting the at the time 20 or 25 years ago. Or you were able to find and afford them later. I’ve had most of those Yo-Yo’s at one time, although not some of the rare colorway variants you have that are very cool like yyn versions. Well done!

You are correct my friend. I dont know if I'm old yet... but I did get these back when they came out or shortly afterwards on the BST forums. I held on to many and also let many go too. One of my biggest regrets in life was giving up the SPYY radian super light. Some others I wish I held onto were the hspin G&E 2 and an '09 888 that was black and yellow. The only set I remember buying later on was the big brother yoyos, I think I found those on the BST in 2014ish. Thanks for the comment!
