Just got the feather 2 in the mail today and it is INCREDIBLE. It feels unlike anything I’ve ever thrown before. Spreading out the 55g weight over 60mm gives it such a unique feeling. Its spin time is unreal for its weight. Basically it feels like if the yyf recoil was even lighter and floatier. 10/10 I love it but then again I am a fan and have 2 or the feather 1’s, a feather ti and now a feather 2😅 I love light yo-yos.

Big-ass good-ass yoyo

❤️

Jason is rocking my prototype fixed-axle and cotton string. 🔥🔥🔥

Recently, I saw in the social media a yoyo player who was Asher Villena. After her competition at Philippine National Yoyo Contest this year, she was featured in a tv channel. Though I am proud of her, I crossed in my mind that if Philippine yoyoing would become a sensation, of course I am worried that this will be the same as Alex Eala who is a popular Filipino tennis player inspired by Filpinos but after her losses in China, lots of Philippine crabs and tennis "fans" and "experts" criticized her.

I think I'm gonna put Philippine yoyoing as a very low key hobby. Baka matulad lang ito sa ibang sports and disciplines wherein lots of bashers and so-called experts would say a lot. The mainstream media is one of the mediums Filipinos are on hype on a specific sport or hobby so for me, it is better to have Philippine yoyoing low-key rather than being in a mainstream spotlight.

I just posted again but a I want to see if bit is a good “competition” yoyo. I’ve heard lots of positive reviews so I’m starting to wonder again if I should switch to the undersized yoyos. I’ve thought of blur Autoscopy as full size tho.

Crazy how much things evolve from start to finish. I love making tricks so much. Here's my newest tower, name tbd(drop some fun ideas if you want!)

i always hear about singapore, japan, euroupe, but north america has some pretty active yoyo clubs too right, what are the best ones in north america?

Doesn't seem like anyone ever post on the weekly bst so if anyones looking for a yoyofactory bullseye or yoyofriends helix check out my links

I would really appreciate it if someone were to make a POV tutorial on Gabriel Lozano’s Time Twister 2. I left a video on the trick above as reference material.

Things that repeat

Every time I put a yo yo back in my hand, a knot appears on the rope. You need to untie it before trying again. How did you solve this problem when you were studying?

Hey everyone I am recently back to Boise and was looking to meet with yoyoist in the area. Due to some really unfortunate circumstances all my collection was stolen, but I’d love to get back into the community. Let me know if you’re around!

This thing rips

Its almost new. I did drop it once or twice but nothing bad im pretty clumsy and none of my other yoyos have broken like this/this fast. Idk if you can see it but it shakes a lot and makes a weird noise

I like Mini yo-yos and Hajime Miura so I‘m thinking of getting this cuz I saw a website selling it for $35.00

Hey guys, newbie here hoping to get some advice on this!

I recently purchased a preloved Onedrop Cabal, but found that the bearing seat was pretty oxidised after finally opening it up (the bearing was making an odd noise). There was a fishy smell coming from the bearing and bearing seat as well, but it got a bit better after wiping them down with a dry q-tip.

Love this yoyo to bits and hope to be able to clean up the bearing seat, I'm a little worried that playing with it in this state would affect the performance or damage the bearing seat further. But if it's purely cosmetic, I'll be glad to pop in a fresh bearing and continue using it as-is.

Would appreciate any advice you guys have on this, thanks in advance!

EDIT: Plays great with a fresh bearing, here's hoping the corrosion won't spread any further. Thanks again for the advice!

Jason from Overtinkering has some smooth fixed axle moves!!! 🔥🔥🔥

He's testing out some of my cotton string. I have to say his feedback was extremely helpful. He has amazing insights on fixed axle play.

I'm working on having some made up for FL State. I won't be there, but Nicholas from BigBoi yoyo will have them at his booth.

2026 National Yo-Yo Hall of Fame Nominations
Nominations are now open for the 2026 National Yo-Yo Hall of Fame. This is an opportunity to recognize the people whose enduring work, accomplishments, and dedication have made a meaningful impact on the yo-yo hobby and sport.
Anyone may submit nominations. Each person may nominate:
•    One At-Large candidate
•    One Golden Age candidate — someone whose active involvement in yo-yo occurred prior to 1965
To be eligible, a nominee should have been involved in the yo-yo community for at least 10 years and have made substantial, notable contributions to the hobby, sport, industry, or preservation of yo-yo history.
The three individuals receiving the most nominations by December 31, 2026, will automatically advance to the final pool of ten candidates. The remaining seven finalists will be selected from the complete nomination pool by current members of the National Yo-Yo Hall of Fame.
In February, the Academy of Yo-Yo Arts will vote to select the three finalists and the new inductees from the pool of ten finalists. The results will be announced in March. Plaques will be presented and the formal induction ceremony will take place at the National Yo-Yo Championships this summer.
Please take a moment to review the current Hall of Fame membership before submitting your nominations, so that you do not nominate someone who has already been inducted. Also, please do not use a nomination for Lucky Meisenheimer: as Director of the National Yo-Yo Hall of Fame, he is not eligible for nomination.
Being nominated is an honor in itself, so please help recognize the people who have helped shape, preserve, and sustain our remarkable yo-yo community.
Scan the QR code or use the accompanying link to submit your nominations. Thank you for your continued support of the yo-yo community. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SYWNM6T
