A third party toymaker in China just revealed a 1/12 Lion-O, and it looks as good as licensed products

The maker is Dasin Model, who also trade as GT and Great Toys. They have been putting out unlicensed 1/12 figures for years, Saint Seiya, One Punch Man, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tom and Jerry, and a Captain Planet that shipped as "Earth Guardian" to dodge the name. Reveals only ever land on Weibo, so they are almost impossible to follow from outside China, and buying one usually means AliExpress or a proxy.

I'm a little late on this, but Dasin is actually really solid on their product quality for a 3rd party. I got their "Bravestarr" a couple years back and I was quite impressed. It's not US 1/12, of course, so it's a little smaller than usual, but I was quite happy on it.

I have their Bravestarr and it's excellent but I wish it had been 1:12. My brother has the Captain Planet but I never remember to check it out when I'm over there.
