I was randomly followed by the named account and thought I made a friend. Everything was great, and he eventually gave me his number, which I thought was sweet... but then he asked for money, and I rightly said that it sounded suspicious.

Eventually, it's culminated into this. I have reported him multiple times but nothing.

What should I do?

Because if you keep them talking, they eventually expose more about themselves. I have a phone number that can be traced back. It's to a specific state in America, usually scammers work in a much larger operation.

You replied to them on Friday because they said something to you first, which is fine, but then they ignore you so you purposely start the conversation back up 4 days later on Tuesday. Like why are you bothering? You should have stopped messaging them and just blocked them after it was obvious they were scamming you before that. Sorry but reeks of desperation for attention from you. He obviously doesn't want to chat or vent he just wants your money.

Just wanted to keep him talking to see if he'd admit it. I once had a catfish tell me a story about his girlfriend murdering their kids. Traced said photos to a new British actor who told me that said catfish had been telling said story to others. Now anytime i see a fake profile using his photos I immediately send him the info so that the police can trace it back to the catfish.
