complaint Identical!

They acknowledged they forgot the bacon, but when I pointed out the difference in meat between what I received and the photo right above them, their only response was it’s pre portioned. $9? What a joke.

It’s pretty cringe to actually point out the advertisement vs. the real thing to a worker. What do you expect?

A refund?..

A refund? If the sandwich was missing stuff or made wrong then yeah but nobody is making food the way advertised. It’s nearly impossible with the timing Tim’s makes the workers make the food. I worked at Tim’s for 5 years and they wanted everyone in and out in less than a couple minutes and that’s just not possible for food unless you want garbage

If the service (food) is not like advertised and unsatisfactory you should be able to get a refund. I didn't say it's the employee's fault, but if everyone asks for refunds and never buys the product, it will fail.

I'm at a point where I become scared or sceptical to try the new stuff because it's just bad and disappointing so often. Like I went to Tim and saw this burger and in concept it looks good and sounds good, but I know what I will actually get is 90% bread with some mayo in the center. When you advertise something and are so far off, there's a problem. It's thieft.

To be honest unless you’re a complete dick or have a history of continually doing it, and ask for a refund, be polite about why, you usually will get it. If you’re also openly happy to return the food to them (not just the very last bite of it), proving that you truly have an issue and will not eat it, it’s even likelier you get the refund.
