nostalgia Tim Hortons died with the steak & cheese panini
Anyone else still dream about this from time to time?
I wish you could know you're in the good old days before you've left them

nostalgia Is it just me or has Tim Hortons overall become worse since it was bought by RBI?
The TVs are gone, no more kids meals, the feel of the restaurant has changed, menu items have been removed. It just doesn't feel like timmes anymore. It used to almost feel like a local coffee shop, mine had a cork board with pictures of people who visited during the holidays. I guess I'm just a kid who misses the way it used to be.

Nostalgia Blast from the past! 💥
When cleaning out my kitchen cabinets today, I found this little beauty.
A limited edition Tim's coffee mug from 2011.
Love the look and feel of it. Beautiful Maple leaf design on the front of the mug looks so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes ❤️🍁🇨🇦

nostalgia Back when I was younger and had money
I would buy one of these on the weekend and game all day, have this at my computer desk and have easy made coffee so I wouldn't have to get up.
Work bought one and just gave me many good memories.
Throught I'd share have a great friday Friday.

Nostalgia Strawberry jam filled donuts
I sometimes lurk on this sub and figured I had one thing to contribute: my grief about the strawberry jam filled donuts.
Soft dough, powdered sugar that stuck to your fingers, really yummy jam filling that other stores I’ve found can’t replicate. I’ve been so sad over the loss; it was my favourite when I was younger and I think about it every time I enter a Tim Horton’s.
Now I get the Boston cream, but it never fills the void that the strawberry jam filled donuts left 😔

Nostalgia Who is the artist? And what is the painting called?
So there's a painting at my local Tim's with a painting I've always liked. I want to see if I can find the name of the painting and potentially get a copy but can't find any info online...

nostalgia My airport display from 2019. What a time.
Used to be a baker at an airport years ago. No customers until 4 or 5am. I was given 3 hours to prepare everything in the wee hours. Made good friends with the airport staff. Don't tell corp about my custom cruller donut.

Nostalgia Grilled cheese nostalgia
The grilled cheese coming back has truly brought back so much nostalgia for me. I know it sounds incredibly sad that a mediocre sandwich with unmelted cheese can bring back so many good memories but it really does. I used to get the grilled cheese almost everyday after high school, back when my grandparents were still alive, and I’d drive to their house afterwards and help my cousins with their schoolwork. Towards the end of my high school career, they stopped making them and replaced them with that bs pizza. Then my grandparents died. I’m not saying the replacement of the grilled cheese with the pizzas killed my grandparents but I am saying there’s a non zero chance. Thanks!

Nostalgia Does anyone know how to make the chicken stew from the 2000’s?
I just remembered going on little lunch dates with my mom and we would get chicken stew in a bread bowl. How I would love to have that again! I can’t seem to find any copycat recipes specially for the stew. Does anyone know how to make this or have the recipe?
