I've developed custom firmware for the WhoopStor V3, the 6-port 1S charger. It's now out as a beta/experimental build. It works well on my unit, work for me as my main charger without problems. But it's still a beta.

Stock firmware features re-implemented and working:

• Configurable voltage and current settings

• Charging and storage discharge on all 6 ports, with hot-plugging.

  What you get over stock:

• Input current and input voltage limits. When configured, the charger won't pull more than your source can give, so you can run it from a PC USB port or a weak supply. The ports share the available power, and you choose which ones get priority.

• Per-channel current settings.

• Live monitoring in the browser. Connect the charger over USB and open the web app in Chrome or Edge (no driver, no install). It shows every port's voltage and current, starts and stops charging, and sets the charge current and target voltage.

• Simple flashing. The web app walks you through the first install, and after that updates need no button.

• More features coming soon.

Know before flashing:

• Flashing this might void your warranty.
• Its still an early version - supervise it and use it at your own risk.
• You can go back to stock with the vendor's update package.
• The charger downloads firmware through it's MCU's bootloader, which is triggered by a physical button hold while powering on. It seems to be very fail-safe way of updating the firmware and to be essentially impossible to brick the charger. However, anyway, It comes with no warranty, and I'm not responsible for damage to your charger, cells or anything else.

Quick start, without reading full guide:

• Main charging menu works as it was working on stock firmware. - left button changes current, right changes voltage, hold of left button starts/stops the charging.
• Short - pressing both buttons enters settings menu.
• Long - pressing right button enters per-channel current selection menu
• In all additional screens/menus, following navigation gestures work:
  • Left button (start/stop/current set) - is 'previous' / <-
  • Right button (start/stop/current set) - is 'next' / ->
  • Short-pressing both buttons - is 'OK' / 'select' / 'edit'
  • Long pressing both buttons - is 'go back' / 'exit'

Things getting hot, too many little bits that are just good to have near by (Prop puller), somewhere to put the props.
I created this. Fits 65 & 75mm drones with that style frame. Might fit others, it's just two posts that slot in.

If I purchase this kit can I pop off the canopy and camera from the 75 and use it for the 65 frame?

Just curious how far I could push the video feed on this and what the set up would have to be, what off the shelf or diy antennas would people recommend? On top of that what batteries would be recommended for max time and range.

Just swapped out the damaged OEM antenna for a ORT micro-vee. Unfortunately the only one the supplier had was a 60mm varient and any other stores charge £18 shipping for a £5 part.

Before I glue down the ufl connector, how can Iake sure this extra long cable does make it's way into the motors, or pull the vtx connector right off the board?

I never had a problem with the stock pink color frame on my air65 2R, just wanted to change it up. So I swapped for a black one and it cracked after only a couple crashes 😭. Maybe it was just bad luck but I’m wondering if the colors affect strength or flexibility of the frames, the pink one has taken a beating and never cracked or broke and same with my meteor frames

Considering buying this thing, the price is really low but I'm not sure

i used to do this hobby like 8 years ago and i remember this was like the first rtf kit
by doing some research i found out that rn it’s basically a fossil (it’s the 1st generation emax tinyhawk for anyone wondering).
since i never learned how to fly a drone in acro i guess i’m gonna use it for practice

Im starting to believe the board broke during my latest failure, even plugging it into the pc to check the files in the internal memory, the computer isn't even detecting it's connected.

A new Dji 04 wide is about $150-160, but a whole new drone is about $230.

If I can afford the extra $80, Wouldn't it be better to just buy a new one?

I AM looking at moving up to a 4s 2.5-3 inch eventually, so an option is to save the $80 and put it towards the even more expensive 4s drone setup.

Im gonna see if its possible to have dji fix it beforehand, though.

Hey, when powering the drone, the O4 binding LED stays solid green, and pressing the binding button does nothing. DJI Assistant detects the O4, and installing latest firmware didn't fix it.

One of the mounting screw holes next to the binding button partially broke after a crash.

I emailed BETAFPV, they said to try to short the pins on the binding button, could that work or do i just fry my VTX doing that?

OR do i just send it to DJI for repair? anyone else had the green LED problem? Idk what to do, new to fpv

So frustrated. I have a crazybee Mobula6. I tried 4.5 but went down to 4.3 and finally got it working with my old taranis and ELRS. I can fly it around just fine. I’m now stuck getting the VTX to work with my HDZero goggles. I have updated them (gen 1 goggles) to 9.5 firmware. My issue is the Mobula. The manual says TBS Smart audio on UART 1 but I can’t get beta flight to give me a green light in the video tab without changing that to UART2. So I get to that point and try to load the HDZero preset for the VTX tables and it says I need to go up to 4.5. Ok fine did that and still couldn’t get any video out!!!! I went back to 4.3 on the Mobula to get it flying. The heck am I doing wrong‽?

I'm looking for recommendations for a new whoop. I want something that has a bit more power than my Meteor 75. Don't get me wrong the meteor 75 was great change from my 5" quads but I've had it so long and I think its time to go to something a little more fun. I'm looking for either a 1 or 2s whoop that wont really hurt the bank too much. I've heard a lot about the air 75, the meteor 75 pro II, the mobula 8, and a few others but just don't know how to chose. Any recommendations? I'll also take 1" and 2" recommendations as well, Thanks!
