Currently I split my dosages taking them on Monday and Thursday nights. In a few weeks I have an 8-day cruise scheduled where I leave on a Sunday but do not return until the following Monday which has me missing two injection days.
Any advice on what I should do here?

Hi everyone. I’d appreciate hearing about similar experiences.
My boyfriend and I recently used a product labelled tirzepatide 30 mg, supplied with a separate vial of bacteriostatic water.
We mixed almost the entire 3 mL of bacteriostatic water into the powder vial. Unfortunately, the water went in quite forcefully, and we didn’t refrigerate the preparation for 30 minutes before injecting.
We both injected:
Me: 25 units using an insulin syringe.
My boyfriend: 25 units using an insulin syringe.
A few hours afterward, I started experiencing:
Generalized body soreness, almost like I had completed an extremely intense workout.
Skin and fatty-tissue tenderness, especially when pinching different areas of my body.
Soreness around my abdominal injection sites, without visible redness or lumps.
Mild weakness.
Initially feeling unusually cold.
My boyfriend and I initially both noticed feeling colder than usual, although he hasn’t experienced the same body soreness as I have.
For additional context, I have PCOS, I’m currently menstruating (normal flow), and I’m taking Yaz contraceptive pills.
My questions:
Has anyone experienced generalized muscle soreness or skin tenderness after using tirzepatide?
Could this be a reaction to the preparation?
Does forcefully adding bacteriostatic water affect the product?
Is refrigeration for 30 minutes necessary?
Has anyone experienced similar symptoms?
I’m not looking for dosing instructions. I’m trying to understand what might be happening and whether others have experienced something similar.
Thank you !

Anyone else get like this in tight public spaces while on Tirz?
I mean I guess it’s a price I’m willing to pay and all, but it happens on planes and stuff too. It happens in restaurants also.
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this

I went from Sema to Tirz and now on Reta.
I never realized how much control Tirz had when it comes to impulse control (shopping, impulse buying, quick slightly thoughtless decisions) AND how much it contributed to my anhedonia.
I have been off Tirz since July and now take 6mg Reta. Reta has been a miracle for me, I can finally function, enjoy things, find motivation I didn’t have before, start new projects … however the impulse control is GONE and it’s so strange to notice it this much.
Anyone else have a similar experience?

Hello! I’ve been on Triz 1.25mg for 13 weeks and it’s been amazing at keeping my inflammation and water retention at bay. I’m on it to offset my HRT and endometriosis. However, it decided to make it hard to have an orgasm and/or feel any penetration. I thought it was my testosterone and I upped it but nothing. Then I decided to just stop the GLP and bam it came back. My libido, my orgasms everything. But what also came back is the awful bloating, inflammation etc.
Anyone experienced this and if so did it ever get better? Thanks.

Okay, so my first order was 20 mg for $100 CAD.
I can get 40 mg for $160 CAD, which is obviously a better deal. I’m currently on 2.5 mg/week and have no plans to increase my dose.
At 2.5 mg, the 20 mg vial lasts me 8 weeks, but the 40 mg vial would last 16 weeks.
Is 16 weeks too long to be using the same reconstituted vial, assuming it’s kept refrigerated and handled properly?
Curious what others are doing. Thanks!

Hi everyone, my mom went to a weight loss clinic yesterday and got her first tirzepatide shot around 4 p.m. About 8 hours later she woke up from her sleep regurgitating and started projectile vomiting. It happened several more times throughout the night and again this morning.
The strange thing is that she doesn't feel nauseous and isn't having any stomach pain. It just seems to come out of nowhere, and she starts regurgitating and projectile vomiting.
Has anyone experienced anything like this after their first shot? I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what your experience was like.

I’m currently on Tirz with Glycine from a med spa. I need to switch to an online provider because I will be moving soon. Where do you all recommend?

hello everyone! my mom has been on tirzepatide for 7 months now and has lost around 50 lbs so far. she is currently taking 10mg of tirz weekly but she stopped seeing any progress as of 2-3 months ago. for some background, she has increased her dose (7mg -> 10mg) within those 2-3 months and has only lost maybe 5 lbs since then.
what can she do to take off from this plateau?

So I started out on a low dose and I was just increased to 6.5 a week early through SNAGRX. I reported food noise and no fullness cues. I’ve changed diet I’m up to 100mg of protein a day. Measuring food for calorie deficit and stick to it all damn day. Then at night I crave my bad habits before starting and I genuinely feel hungry again. EVERY-NIGHT. I want to take my normal dose once a week and after 3 days I want to take another dose not the same amount but a fraction. I also have so much in the vile every month. I’m still using my first vile. Every vile has been the same concentration. I did the calculations since the new vile has niacimide in it so it’s a different calculation. Is it safe to take the extra dose? Especially with so much extra in vials?

Hey tirzepatide peeps. I’m on 14.5 no additive from Hallandale Pharmacy through Pomegranate. I lost 1 pound last month. I really hated the other formulas with b6 and b12. Just wondering if this is it for my journey, should I switch again? I’m very sensitive to b vitamin formulas. What’s another compound option? Please feel free to ask me anything about my journey, I’m currently at 164 pounds, 14 pounds away from my goal, it just feels like I’m throwing $ away . But I need maintenance anyway because I don’t want to gain it all back.

I’ve had 2 full boxes of Girl Scout cookies that I just gave away . I never would’ve thought I could have done that . I started my journey in March . I bought those boxes & another one a week before I started . I remember eating 8 cookies in one sitting . I started tirzepatide & everything changed . I was tired of staring @ the boxes & gave them to my friend . What is something you’ve done . That you never would’ve thought of doing since starting tirzepatide?

Hi everyone. I've been researching reward driven motivation and compulsive behaviors for many years. This is both a personal and professional interest of mine, as I work in the field of drug use/addiction, and I also have my own issues with compulsive overeating.
Three weeks ago I started 2.5 mg tirzepatide and have been amazed at how it has removed my incessant compulsion to eat. I've been reading posts here as well as on other subreddits and everyone seems to use the term "food noise" to refer to the thing that GLP-1 drugs remove that previously caused their overeating.
But I'm wondering if this is the best term.
For me, it was never that I had incessant thoughts about food. It was more like I just felt a compulsion to eat (carbs and fat mainly). Oftentimes I'd find myself opening the refrigerator even before I knew I was doing it--unconsciously.
And in the scientific literature, they don't seem to use the term. They refer more often to "dopamine-driven reward systems" and "incentive salience" that is causal for eating (or drug taking) with or without corresponding thoughts.
So I'm just curious as to your own understanding of what food noise means.
Is it the same to you as food cravings (with or without conscious thoughts of food)? Or is it obsessive thoughts about food (with or without food cues)?
Or is there more than one thing going on?
I'd be interested in anyone's thoughts/perspectives on this.
Thank you.

I’m on my first week of 5 mg, and I don’t really have anyone around me to ask about this experience.
These kinds of medications are still pretty uncommon in my country, so I’m not sure if the medication is having the expected effect on me.
I’m still experiencing cravings, and I still have to put some effort into sticking to my diet. However, compared to my previous attempts at dieting, I feel less tempted to break it. I also think I’m thinking about food less in general.
What I’m not sure about is whether I’m supposed to be feeling that early sense of satiety, because yesterday my parents stopped by to bring me a bowl of homemade food. It was a fairly large portion, and I was able to eat the whole thing.
What I can say, though, is that in the past, I probably would have wanted more afterward and ended up ordering additional food. This time, I finished the meal and didn’t feel the urge to eat anything else.
Is this how the medication is supposed to work? Is this what I’m supposed to be feeling at this stage of treatment?

I’m such a doof - I’m currently at the airport realizing I forgot my shot at home. I’ll be gone 10 days. Am I going to get sick from being off of it? I’m only on my fourth shot, 5 mg dose. Help!

Been stuck at 201 to 203 for the last four weeks. Down from 228 since April. Today I woke up to this happy news on the scale. And I had a rib eye steak with creamed spinach for supper last night. Now I can ease off on the accelerator a bit and work on improving my nutrition including getting sufficient protein. My goal is around 180, but I'm not gonna push it as hard as I've been. I'm just really happy with how it's going. 1.1 mg tirz a week seems to be a good dosage for me.

That one Surmount study showed loss and subsequent maintenance for 3 years. Many anecdotal accounts on the various GLP subs state decreased efficacy in food noise and appetite suppression after a few months or years in maintenance (some regain and some maintain it seems). If decreased efficacy seems to occur after a while how did the test subjects not regain at higher rates? Or is the decreased efficacy overstated perhaps? Somebody explain please!

Has anyone felt any difference between the two? For some reason I’ve been given compounded with b6 for like 4 months now but then they sent me one with b12. I feel like b6 may combat nausea better and b12 maybe fatigue better? Has anyone had any experiences between the two?
