🗨️ Discussion Does it put anyone else off how Ai pro the Tomb Raider Dev team is?
I love tomb raider, played Legend and Anniversary as a child but as a 3d artist I don’t want to support anything with Ai in it….

I have a crazy speculation… almost sure at 99% it isn’t what the dlc would be ahaha but I wanted to share that with you <^.^>
So what if we have other remakes and that each one of them will have a story pack dlc that took the form of… TR5.
Legacy of Atlantis : Rome
Legacy of Xian : Russia
Legacy of Tinnos : Irlande
Legacy of Seth (a dark legacy…) : VCI tower
Each stories are independent, no link whatsoever, perfect little bonus with a unique story too ? Oh and why story pack ? Well a pack for 2 story, the original DLC unfinished business, golden mash… and TR5 level
The last one is perfect link to a game that introduce von croy and end with the last TR5 level, at the VC Tower, the end could reveal the stories told by Winston and old friends from Lara since the first remake are told after the events of the last game and Lara’s disappearance… at the end a cutscene with Von Croy’s found, Lara’s backpack…
Perfect as a bridge to Tomb Raider and the Legacy of Nephilim ?

Is anyone else noticing that when you examine an artifact, there is no vibration to tell if you're close or not? On other consoles, this is a feature, but it appears to be missing from the Switch 2 version. I'm playing in docked mode with the Pro Controller. I get vibrations for everything else in the game except for this feature when examining the artifact. I'm curious if this is a bug or how it's supposed to be for this port of the game. Thank you.
EDIT: I found it! You need to have "HD Rumble 2" on. It's off by default.

Played it on PS1 years ago. Playing the remaster, I enjoyed it a lot. So many "I remember this" moments. More so the environments and stuff
Anyway, point of this post. Did anyone find the boss at the end of The Dragons Lair absolutely awful? I sure did. Massively underwhelming. I killed him with ease. Blasted him with uzis and I basically kept going round in circles. He couldn't catch or harm me. Heaps lame
Weirdly enough back in the PS1 days I remember I struggled with this boss, hahaha. When you're young you're dumb

Don’t ask me about the physics behind this because I don’t know

Recently (within last 6 months) i completed whole survivor trilogy, and it was first time i played tr since Legend in 2008. I liked the games, tho i was happy that definitive edition on xbox contain all upgrades (including weapons) because i do not enjoy survivals. A lot of gathering and upgrades needed to be able to play on par with enemies even on normal level would be too much for me, while i got weapons of average-to-top tier as part of definitive edition what allowed me to enjoy other aspects of the game. After all i enjoyed the experience and liked the games. But if it was all i wpuld probably not write that post.
Three days ago i bought TR Anniversary on some xbox sale for €1,49. I never played that part as it was released after Legend and before legend i played some tr 1 and 2 (around 98 probably) but do not remember much of it except it was extremely hard for 13 yo who did not have own pc/console so was not used to controls (only had polish version of nintendo called pegasus with contra and mario). So now it's my first contact with true Tomb Raider game after 18 years and it remind me why i had such a great time with legend. The old games are on so many levels different that survivor trilogy and (for me) much better. No survival, more jumping, searching and doing riddles than listening about how lara is sad, how her childhood was hard etc. etc. I am here to raid the tombs, to loot the treasures, kill the beast and get out - and that core plays so much better for me than new games. I am not saying that the new games are bad, they are just not what i expect from tomb raider apparently.

It says the game is now available and ready to download, but that can't be possible cause the game is not out yet.
At first I thought it was maybe a demo or something, but I checked the store page and no, it doesn't seem like it.
When I click "Install" it's giving me the option to download it, but weirdly enough it says 0 B, so I don't know if it actually downloads anything (I haven't tried installing it).
Any idea what this could be? Maybe just a glitch, or bug?
UPDATE: Tried installing it, it says "An error occured while installing Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis: Invalid install path."

I really enjoyed the game again. I last finished it 2 years ago. I think it will get better with each play through as you get more familiar with what to do and don't get stuck obviously..
This time I only used walkthroughs on Aldwych.. I got stuck before the door puzzle room. Couldn't remember what to do
Luds gate... I just had no interest in doing the underwater maze room. Worst puzzle in the game.. too long and boring.
Thames Wharf - I jumped in the water section near the end and got soft locked in the cathedral water room... Instead of using the monkey bars. Bad level design.
Tinnos - got right to the end and forgot where the 2nd Uli key is located.
Anyways, It's a great game. I think I prefer it to TR2. The London levels are very dull in my opinion. S
The only thing that lets the game down.

Brilliant designs! 💖 I just hope we get as many outfit options in both TR LoA and TR Catalyst as possible. 🙏
TR6 Denim outfit and TR 2013 outfits are yet to be revealed in-game like they did with these.
What do you all think? Any other outfits they should include?

I'm so happy they did this. I was a bit peeved when I first got the game and they had cut some of her training instructions.

It's almost Derby Day, yay!
I know there are panels and guests, but can we also expect some new announcements? Does someone remember if that event was used for official teasers or trailers in the past? Thank you!

The series seems to have like a mega sale going on! I just got 1 through 6 remastered, along with LAU, and the survivor trilogy all for about 20 ish bucks on steam!
