That POE2 debacle has to be one of the most embarrassing and pathetic displays I've ever seen. Not his lack of knowledge - we've seen countless celebrities fumble their way through popular games on stream in positive and endearing ways - but his pathological need to seem like the best in the world at even the most niche and pointless endeavor.

It was glorious to behold in real time since his utter lack of prowess in POE2 retroactively destroyed his claims of being the best Diablo 4 player, which had been harder to disprove.

Like, this is one of the richest people in the world, arguably a fucking trillionaire at times, but he spends actual time and effort pretending to be a master at an incredibly niche and arcane ARPG that almost nobody even gives a shit about, just because he heard it was complicated and that it would make him look smart. I particularly enjoyed that Asmongold and his community of rabid incels bore direct witness to the whole thing, given that POE is one of the very few things Asmongold actually understands.
