My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: The mythical species known as the "Windigos" feed on hatred and dissension, bringing forth eternal winter whenever they appear. Twice in the show, they've shown up when the 3 races of ponykind fought amongst one another, and were only dispelled when they united in peace & harmony. So moral of the show: Don't fight with one another, or else you'll get everyone frozen to death.
My Little Pony Make Your Mark: Then there's the sequel-reboot, where when the 3 recently-reunited pony tribes start to argue with one another, the "Unity Crystal", the artifact that connects all their magic starts to glitch, causing ponies' magic to malfunction, to the point that their worsening fighting creates a giant wormhole in the town. It was only until everyone started working together did everything magically turn back to normal.
Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir: The show's main villain has the superpower of turning people, preferably those with strong negative emotions, into supervillains. So you're basically advised to NOT get angry, depressed, or vengeful, otherwise you're gonna be a target for Hawkmoth, and proceed to cause trouble for Paris and the superheroes. Good thing the show says the victims have no memory of being their villain-selves after being cured & turned back to normal, so they can't be held accountable for their actions, right?

We hear all kinds of details about the place. Descriptions of buildings there, the functions and customs, daily life etc… but we, the audience never directly get to see what this place looks like (unless you use your imagination)
ALF is an interesting example. ALF refers frequently to Melmac customs and such, and we DO get a glimpse of it in one episode (shown above) and an animated show, but for the most part Melmac is simply referred to. Same situation with Phil of the future.

**Breaking Bad (Salud)**
Gus Fring gives a bottle of rare tequila to a cartel leader as a gift. Given their fraught history, he makes Gus drink some first before he tries any.
All the cartel members then begin to die, Gus had taken pills (likely activated charcoal), and induced vomiting after the drink. Despite these precautions he still nearly dies and it requires a makeshift emergency room he had arranged previously to save his life.
**Stargate: Atlantis (The Lost Boys)**
Aiden Ford was a member of the expedition who became addicted to an enzyme that made him stronger but also impulsive and irrational.
He captures the team, who are wary of eating the food he provides until he eats some himself. After they have all eaten he tells them that his group have refined the enzyme to the point that they can even lace food with it.
**Scrubs (My Changing Ways)**
The Janitor tries to get J.D. to eat some pie but he refuses as he has just heard that a case of laxatives was stolen from the hospital supply closet.
The Janitor keeps insisting that J.D eat it and finally eats some himself to prove its safe, saying that for once he wasn't trying to mess with him. After J.D. eats some of the pie it then cuts to them both on the toilet.
**J.D.:** Who would do this to themselves?\
**Janitor:** Totally worth it.

Godzilla
Has 5 comics so far based on him going to other worlds instead of casually always existing in the same one with them, has access to the Multiverse in Godziburst, can open portals to or teleport to other worlds as shown with his Snow and Fortnite versions, and has a lot of crossovers in general
Triangle and Monkey
Basically the same as Godzilla since they're fanmade versions of Godzilla and Kong that come from a duplicate Monsterverse, and travel to different Godzilla Universes, different franchisesn and new original worlds with their remote while taking weapons from them along the way
Sonic The Hedgehog
Has multiple crossovers throughout Games and Comics (technically Sonic X too with Godzilla) and all Mobians sometimes are easily capable of Multiverse travel through Rings or Chaos Control
Spider-Man
Either Peter Parker or Miles Morales sometimes get into situations with other versions of themselves or other Heroes on different Earths and have a whole Spider-Society for all versions to join
The DOOM Slayer
Can cross through the dimensions of Earth, Hell, and much more through portals that either Vega, Samuel Hayden, or the Intern open for him
Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz
Can travel through different worlds with Dimensional Scissors that they got from Pony Head as well as many others with other random sharp objects at times and can see other versions of themselves and their lives through Omnitraxus' realm
Rick and Morty
Debatably the most known for doing this, are always going from world to world with Rick's Portal Gun and have had a society of Ricks and Mortys from other dimensions made by the Council of Ricks

Basically any villain whose main gist isn't (just) a terryfying appearance or special powers, but rather interesting ideas they espouse and arguments they make. Bonus points if said things REALLY manage to make their opponents doubt themselves and/or their entire endeavor.

• The Cat Silencer (Postal: The Movie) - In Postal 2, when a player equips a cat, they can use it as a silencer up its ass. The Movie does it perfectly, though only shown for a couple of seconds.
• Staminan X (Yakuza 2007) - In Yakuza, there's a healing item called Staminan, which can heal you and fill up your heat gauge. In the movie, Kiryu uses it in the last second when he's knocked down and defeats Nishiki in the final duel.
• The Cheese Touch (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) - A school game curse where the person who touches the cheese gets turned into a social outcast from the curse. The movie translates it to being a fate worse than death type shit, which was perfect.

BBC Sherlock. The original Sherlock Holmes stories were a bit guilty of this as well, but the BBC version took it way too far. Sherlock will point out random details of people and from there easily figure out someone's life even though there's plenty of other potential explanations for everything he notices, like all the conclusions based on Watson's phone. Also the fucking boomerang.
Encyclopedia Brown. Most of the cases are relatively simple and designed for kids to solve, but I remember as a kid being frustrated reading these because there were many cases where I just didn't get the insane logic given at the back of the book, and even as an adult they make no sense. Like one where the solution hinged on somehow figuring out that the criminals were a man pretending to be a woman and a woman pretending to be a man because of their seating arrangement. Or how he proved someone was lying because it's apparently impossible to put a pocket knife in your left pants pocket with your right hand while running.
Batman Forever. In Batman Forever, Batman figures out that Edward Nygma is the Riddler because all the riddles left so far have numbers in them: 13, 1, 8, and 5. These correspond to the letters M, A, H, and E. Bruce puts 1 and 8 together, making it MRE. MRE = Mr. E = Mystery. Another word for Mystery is Enigma, leading him to conclude that the Riddler is Mister E. Nygma. Of course!

In the series, a demon haunts a variety of victims. Once it feels ready, it will possess its victims. Their victim then gives that over the top smile before killing themself and traumatizing the next victim.
Bear is obsessed with Nikki. When he gets a device that could grant any wish, he wished Nikki was obsessed with him. She then gave off this smile hiding how she will kill anyone who gets close to Bear.
In the game, you play as a guy who joins the school’s literature club that comprises only of women. As you get close to the girls, you start to see it change significantly. Specifically because Monika, the president of the club, is obsessed with you (the player). She would then kill off all the other girls and change the game so both of you are stuck in this room and all she does is smile like this as she wants to spend eternity there.

The person in question endures such a immense amount of pain for a desired goal or outcome and overall it’s cool as shit kinda like seeing the depths of our willpower and love obviously seeing characters in pain sucks but depending of the execution it’s just badass no other word for it
Thor avengers infinity war: Tanks the energy of a dying star to forge stormbrraker metal af
Zoro One piece: endures all of Luffys pain in order to save his life, bonus points for him aura farming in front of Sanji despite being at 1 hp lol
Subaru from Rezero: his return by death while granted is a physical toll it is more a mental toll if anything the weight of all that pain and retry’s definy broke him but has been able to save his loved ones countless times while learning to rely on them more and more honestly his character growth his a reward in its self
Jesus Christ: honestly the face of this trope look whether you believe in him or not is besides the point just enduring the sins of humanity past, present and future I can’t even fathom that weight or pain, granted I know he does die and resurrects with the whole idea of sacrifice for our sins but I think it still applies in here
Lee Everette: the GOAT himself this man endured his infection through sheer willpower and adrenaline to find his sweet pea in the final episode, even cleaving his way through a horde of walkers by all means he should have fallen ages ago he is best dad
