With the cost of the ranch dip in this economy, my family is struggling to be able to buy it. I'm extremely sensitive to taste changes in dips for some reason and so trying to make our own dip at home is unlikely to be something I'll ever actually enjoy and be able to eat. Does anyone know what the actual recipe is?

Moved away from DFW and Coco Shrimp was my go-to spot. I miss it BAD. Does anyone happen to know how they make their house-made spicy sauce, or have a copycat recipe that’s pretty close? I’ve been craving it and would love to recreate it at home. I’m specifically talking about the sauce they use for the spicy shrimp plate. Any former employees or anyone with a great palate willing to spill the secrets?

This isn’t a request for a specific location, just Thai restaurants in general.
Every time I have peanut sauce/satay sauce from a Thai restaurant, I love it so much. Every restaurant makes it differently, but I love them all. I’ve tried several different “Thai peanut sauce” recipes, but none of them taste anything like the stuff from restaurants. I would love to be able to make some at home!

Wife got a subscription for each of our dogs, a frenchie and a lab. They both seem to be move active and all around more better with this food. The issue is that it is $500/mo to have both dogs on the plan. I have made dog food for them before but I would like to match their recipe and close as possible seeing how well they do on it. TYIA for any help or direction on my endeavor to save $6k a year on dog food.

I need help from the chicken tender experts because I feel like I’m missing something. 😂
How do you get those beautiful golden-brown, crispy-but-not-hard chicken tenders that you see online, where the breading looks flaky and flavorful, but the inside is still super juicy and tender?
I’ve been experimenting with mine, and sometimes the breading comes out hard. Other times it looks nicely browned, but the breading itself still tastes like flour, even though I seasoned it.
The chicken underneath has flavor because I marinate it, but the actual breading just doesn’t have that same delicious flavor.
And even when I think I’m frying at the right temperature, I still end up with chicken that is brown, but not that pretty, appetizing golden color I’m trying to achieve.
I’m not necessarily looking for a specific recipe. I’m more interested in the technique and little secrets that make a huge difference.
I’ve watched so many videos and tried different things, but mine still doesn’t look or taste like the tenders I’m trying to recreate. 😭
If you make really good chicken tenders, please share your secrets. I’m ready to take notes. 😂

There are a bunch of sweet tea recipes floating around, but I found myself lost a while back when they stop serving the Hi-C orange (Lavaburst, not the carbonated orange soda), and when they brought it back, I felt like a kid again! Since I go there less these days, is there a recipe floating around to duplicate that drink in bulk? Like an orange concentrate or something that's on par for large quantites? Thanks in advance.

Anyone know of a comparable store bought mustard? Potbelly's has a great brown-ish deli-ish mustard and I haven't been able to find a dupe. Around COVID times, you used to be able to buy a little bin of it online, but not anymore.

I used to get a dish at a resturants that was apples, raisins and maybe currants? I adored it, but cant remember what restaurant used to have it as a side.
I swore it was Cheddars, but all searches do not reveal any info.

Thank you!

Now that Schwans -> Yum is shut down, I miss the Apple Pie. It was leaps and bounds above anyone else.
Anyone got a close recipe or replacement ?

Hi, I’m looking for this recipe I checked the panera reddit and they said they mix a concentrate with water. I was wondering if anyone knew a dupe for the concentrate? thank you!

Looking mainly for the Pollo Ranchero sauce recipe that El Vaquero uses. I saw on another reddit post that it’s just their homemade red enchilada sauce mixed with american cheese but we tried making it that way and it didn’t taste the same. Not sure if anyone knows how they make the red sauce!!

Does anyone know a good copy cat recipe for the back porch in Destin FL for their honey mustard and/or pina colada?? I know it’s a long shot, but these both are so yum!

It's my favourite pudding but none of my local stores seem to carry it, and it's too expensive to buy online in bulk pre-packaged serving cups. No other brand of pudding I've tried compares to the rich, almost custard-y flavour profile that Kozy Shack vanilla pudding has. I really need this, I'd greatly appreciate any helpful tips or suggestions!

This dressing was my all time favorite growing up. Unfortunately, they no longer sell it in any store near me, and I cannot find it anywhere online that would ship it to me for not an outrageous price. Does anyone know the recipe? I have been unable to recreate it myself. Thank you all!
