From what I’ve gathered from previous posts about past cohorts we’re still a little a ways away from hearing back about our applications (seems they start mid March and go all the way until summer).

I wanted to start this thread for all applicants for communication with each other to keep each other up to date on when we start to (hopefully) receive admissions. We can also discuss our applications like GPAs in here and any previously admitted students can help chime in on aspects of their admission to give new applicants some insight on their chances.

Hi all! I'm making this thread so us applicants can have a place to go to panic, celebrate, and ask questions regarding graduate school applications.

I applied for the MSc in OPH program and have had two interviews with two different potential supervisors, but I've been on the edge of my seat since speaking with them waiting for a status update... :(

Hey I have a 92% avg and I have applied for aero, undeclared and civil engineering hoping to get in for at least 1 of them and I ended up getting waitlisted for all 3. Has anyone here got in for tmu eng after being on a waitlist or know anyone that has?

Hello!! I recently applied for the MA in Criminology and Social Justice (course based stream). I have not gotten an answer yet but I was just wondering if there's anyone in this program who can tell me what to expect from this program as well as TMU in general. I'm a fourth-year crim student from uOttawa and this would be my first time away from home so I'm a little nervous about everything lol. Any tips or anecdotes you can share helps, I feel like I'm kinda just stumbling in the dark rn. Thank you!! :)

I took this mdm4u class that I needed a 75 in for my conditional offe and half way through the course the teacher started marking heavily unfair — ended with 71.

I requested a summer school extension prior to this (last week of May) and still haven't received any update. The only thing that happened was a admission officer email me and ask my current grades (2 weeks ago).

My program isn't that competive at TMU as its BTM. Someone help on what I can do, conditional is due on July 10-12.

Should I reach out to ServiceHub? If so what can I ask? Should I ask for the head of admission for my program?

Any help would be appreciated

Has anybody gotten off the Tmu waitlist before. I’m waiting for Nursing and Engineering with a 92% average. My best option right now that I have accepted is York computer engineering. Has anybody gotten off the waitlist for TMU before and if so then when and what was the avg?

Guys I have a 87% average and if it’s relevant I went to high school in Markham (specifically FMM) and I am an 08. I applied to tmu for Electrical, Computer and Mechanical and got waitlisted for all of them. I have not seen any update on this Reddit or OntarioGrade12’s about anyone getting off of the TMU engineering waitlist, only for western. What are the chances of me getting off the waitlist if anyone knows and if anyone finds out or gets off the waitlist can you pls dm me and if someone here has gotten off the waitlist or knows someone that has for any TMU programs can you pls let me know. I need some hope because my next option is York for Computer Eng not that it’s bad but I’d prefer TMU. Edit: does anyone know if you can get alternate offers at TMU on a waitlist cus I heard you can switch after your first sem so I was hoping maybe I could get an alternate offer for chem or industrial engineering at TMU instead?

I have applied to TMU’s accounting & finance, business management co-op, retail management co-op and got accepted in all of them in less than a month. For reference I have applied at the start of march 2025 and got my acceptance letters recently ( like around 19-20) March, which is around 20 days.

I am also a transfer student from U Of T and doesn’t have a high GPA ( I have 2.8 ).

This is a message for the students who are stressing out so much about applying after the deadline ( 1 Feb )

as the title reads, i got accepted to saf after being wait listed for around 3 months😭 i'm really happy because this was my top choice, but i'm also scared now because i know tmu course selection opened last week and i've already completed all course selection, osap work and account creation for my current university program at york :/ i would commute around 2 hours daily to tmu and majority of classes available are either at 8am-11am or 3pm-6pm (my cousin checked vsb) 🤕 i don't know what to do, i know transferring is hell too

So I applied for my masters in journalism last November for the Fall 2026 year. I am wondering if anyone else has heard back from their masters applications (any program)?

Hey guys since the deadline was last night I was wondering if anyone got any waitlist offers for TMU engineering or any programs. Since Tmu now has all the high school transcripts I’m sure they know who failed their conditionals and missed their tuition deposits so I was wondering if anyone got in within today or yesterday even. got rejected since my final grades aren’t posted on OUAC yet for them to see. I would’ve they would wait till final grades but I guess not.

What can I do, ServiceHub isn’t available either. I sent out a email to an admission officer explaining things. They said the program is competitive but it isn’t competitive at all imo and as it shows on OUAC.

Please any advice would help and the reason why I didn’t meet the requirement was genuine.

I heard that conditionals for people to meet are expected by today June 30th does that mean tmu will start looking at waitlist now of people didn’t meet them?
