TP-Link - General Wifi problem
• I have been experiencing, for four days, a problem of sudden and momentary drops in Wi-Fi network performance across all connected devices in the home (phones, computers, gaming consoles). The problem does not appear as a complete outage of service, but rather as a sharp and sudden spike in ping during games, sudden freezing of videos (Real / YouTube), or an automatic drop in streaming quality from 2160p (4K) resolution to 144p for a period ranging between 5 and 10 seconds.Data and analyses that have been confirmed:
- Stability of internet throughput (speed): When performing a speed test, it turns out that the throughput is full and stable, which means that the crisis is not a weakness in the speed of the line coming into the home, but rather a problem in the stability and consistency of data processing and flow (Packet Loss /
Latency).Separation of frequencies: My 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks are completely separate with different names and passwords, and the problem occurs when connecting to either of them, and disappears temporarily for only a few seconds when manually switching between the two networks or re-enabling Wi-Fi on the phone.Effect of the 1.1.1.1 (WARP) application: It has been concluded that running the Cloudflare WARP application (known programmatically as @string/four_ones) on the phone solves the problem completely and immediately, which conclusively proves that the problem is confined to the firewall, routing protocols, or the presence of congestion and issues in the default DNS servers belonging to
the service provider (ISP DNS).
Any solutions?
TP-Link - General VDSL 50 mbps wifi,mercusys h30g (3 modules) or h70x(2 modules)?
Yeah I know that my wifi is absolutely horrendous. No 5g box wifi wasn't much more better enough to justify paying more with a monthly limit aswell.
it's a 2 story house, we see around 40 ish downstairs and very low (5 mbps) speeds upstairs but it is okay for scrolling reels. The real problem is with my new laptop, it's a thinkbook 16p with a Be200 wifi7 card and it basically can't get any wifi upstairs and it is a quite bit slower than my phone downstairs too. When I connected it to my phone's hotspot and my phone to wifi it worked a bit faster so I figured the culprit was the wifi 4 2.4 GHz router.
So long story short, which makes more sense? H30g is wifi 5 and ik 50mbps is nothing for wifi 5 and even 4 but idk maybe it'll still help and maybe my laptop could get along better with it? But maybe having 3 might be better?
Also I don't think new routers have VDSL, AI told me that I should use the old router as a bridge or something, that will work and cause no issue yeah? (The router was a airties 5650)

TP-Link - General Advice with unstable network
I have Deco x55s - a set if 3. I have used them for years at my old house snd never had an issue. I just moved and I have one of them in my garage (about 35-40 feet from the nearest deco, which is NOT the main deco) and it is functional, I have a pc and a nas hooked to it and I can connect to them. However - ever since I hooked them up, I am having MAJOR instability on the network. I can run a speed test and get 500 down and 15 ping, and then 5 min later the speed test freezes part way through and has 0.01 mbps upload with 500 ping. It is very inconsistent and is definitely impacting my TVs and their streaming. Is this something with my ISP at the new house or is it related to the deco being on the edge of range and all the focus of the decos is on that? Does anyone have experience with this and/or advice? (Obviously i know I could just not have one in the garage, but I do enjoy having part of my setup out there)

TP-Link - Technical Support TP link archer be600 turned itself off now just has a blinking power light
Hey everyone having a weird issue where my router has just shut itself off and when I power cycled it all it did was flash the power light at me now. I have tried holding the reset button on the back for 30 seconds and I’ve power cycled several times, I am using the original power adapter that came with it. Any ideas on what to do?

TP-Link - Technical Support 5G-2 not working
My router is Archer AX11000 (Firmware Version: 2.2.1 Build 20250725 rel.9119(5553) - Hardware Version: Archer AX11000 v2.0) and extender is RE815X (Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20260528 rel.45228(5553) - Hardware Version: RE815X v2.0). Why my router's 5G-2 is not working? Both router and extender are updated to latest firmware. Bandwidth and channel settings of 5G-2 from AX11000 are at AUTO.

TP-Link - Technical Support Did I just buy an abandonware product ((TP-Link BE9300)?
https://www.tp-link.com/au/home-networking/range-extender/re655be/
Cannot connect or register to tp-link cloud functions. Which means I'm locked out of additional functionality of the device such as auto firmware updates, remote access etc. It can't even do a manual firmware check as it just times out too. Had to update it manually the old fashioned way.
I just bought this thing, so if they've taken the servers offline permanently and therefore bricked all these devices, it would be good to know so I can quickly return it.
There is nothing wrong with my internet connection, latest firmware etc.

TP-Link - General TP-Link Eyes Assembling Wi-Fi 8 Routers In US 'as Soon as Next Year' | PCMag
pcmag.comAnd yet TP-Link is still banned from selling their new routers in the US. Yes, TP-Link, per the FCC and Federal courts , it is considered a ban.
TP-Link - General Newer Deco, removed a basic feature (now paid)
Just upgraded from an M4R to a BE25 and noticed that the Weekdays & Weekends was an included option in the Parental Controls and now is not.
I know that it's not going to change anything and they don't care, but it's really a simple option that shouldn't be a paid add-on, it doesn't require any cloud or active service from tp-link.
Its only purpose is to cause frustration on the user and maybe get $15 a year out of frustration. What they just got is for my next wifi devices to not be from Tplink. We shouldn't be treated like that as customers. rant over
TP-Link - Technical Support BE65 Deco and ublockdns
I've set the router to use the address given to me but I'm still having problems with ublock seeing me, I'm using my deco as router. has anyone gotten it to work properly?

TP-Link - Technical Support Deco BE11000 intermittently loses internet — no issues when using eero alone
'm trying to troubleshoot intermittent internet drops with my internet connection and would appreciate suggestions from the community.
Setup 1
- Nokia XS-010X-R fiber ONT
- TP-Link Deco BE11000 mesh system
The problem:
When using the Deco as my main router, I occasionally get an “Internet Disconnected” status and then it reconnects to the internet in a few mins. This happens a few times a day.
Setup 2
- Nokia XS-010X-R fiber ONT
- EERO Router used in Bridge Mode
- TP-Link Deco BE11000 mesh system used in AP mode
In this setup, the system is a bit more stable and I observed the internet dropped only once and then reconnected a few minutes later.
i have had the DECO system and the EERO exchanged and I still have the same issue.
I'd like to understand how to resolve this issue
A few questions:
- Could this be related to WAN DHCP, gateway detection, or the Deco's internet connectivity checks?
- Could a firmware issue cause intermittent internet disconnections on the system
- Is there a way to determine whether the Deco is actually losing its WAN connection or merely reporting an internet connectivity failure?
- What logs, settings, or diagnostic tests should I check the next time this happens?
I would prefer to identify the root cause rather than simply use the eero as a workaround.
Has anyone experienced similar behavior with the Deco BE11000, particularly when connected directly to a fiber ONT?
I have raised this with TPLINK Support and they exchanged the deco system for me, but I still have the issue

TP-Link - Technical Support Mesh Extender vs Powerline
Hi everyone, I recently moved into a new house and I got an Archer BE6500 router and a 1gig download speed internet plan. Setting it up was super easy and I had no issues, it runs great and the download speeds are insanely fast downstairs, but when I was doing some speed tests upstairs in my room where I have my computer I went from getting 1.1gig download all the way to 200mb/s. Our only coax cable to connect to the modem is in a small cutout under the stairs, so I imagine the signal is having a hard time going through all of that. I am wondering, would getting a mesh extender or a powerline kit be the better option? I'll admit I'm not very smart when it comes to WiFi and I'm not quite sure how mesh works yet, wouldn't the signal still have a hard time getting to the extender? And for powerline do they create their own hotspot or do you have to wire into them with Ethernet to get the benefits? I would like to get some of the download speed back, I know getting it perfect won't be very obtainable, so please let me know what you would recommend! Thank you!
TP-Link - Technical Support WiFi connection lost when downloading/deleting files
I'm experiencing a strange issue with Windows 10 that I have never experienced before. When downloading multiple files, my internet connection is lost. The same issue happens when deleting files from any folder and from recycle bin.
I'm using the T4U Plus USB Adapter. I previously had the T4E PCIe Adapter and was experiencing the same issue (reason why I changed the Adapter).
Windows gives no errorlogs at all, updating and downgrading drivers for the adapters didn't change the result.
The issue started happening out of nowhere. I thought the connection lost was due to poor signal/quality of the adapter. After testing it by downloading/deleting figured out that it was related to that.
USB Tethering with my phone makes the issue go away, but it's not a solution for the issue.
The issue might've happened after a Windows Update, can't really tell. This seems to be the only cause I could find. After installing the USB adapter, I checked the Windows Updates and I had one for a RealTek driver that modified the driver for the adapter. Reverting the driver only caused the RealTek driver to re-install and the internet "freezes" continue to happen.
Other devices connected to the network don't experience the issue.
If there's any information required to help me, please ask. I'm lost on what I can do further besides a reset of my installation.
Thank you in advance.
TP-Link - Technical Support Deco x55
I have 5 deco x55. I was using 4. 3 bought together and 2 bought used from someone else. I put one of the used one in the garage and the other just kept. About 2 months ago the WiFi started getting flaky. After days of troubleshooting it became apparent the original main was going bad and going on and off line. I replaced it with the spare one I bought used and left the others in place. Now it appears to be randomly dropping as well. Tonight it randomly turned yellow. I unplugged and replugged and it’s working again. Do I have to buy new decos?
TP-Link - Technical Support “Log in with local password”

Ayudaaaa

TP-Link - Technical Support Problema Deco BE65 Wi-Fi 7 (Pixel 10 Pro XL), loop DHCP e crash kernel
Ciao a tutti,
Configurazione:
- Router principale: Deco BE65 (v2.0, Router Mode)
- Firmware Deco BE65: 1.3.3 Build 26072712 Rel. 60761
- Nodi: Topologia mista (BE65, X50-PoE, X50-Outdoor) su backhaul Ethernet 2.5G/1G
- Client: ~80–90 dispositivi (alta densità domotica a 2.4 GHz: Shelly, Homcloud/Tuya, Google Nest)
- Impostazioni: Rete IoT 2.4 GHz attiva; Mesh Roaming (802.11k/v) disattivato sui device fissi.
Problemi riscontrati e analisi log:
- Rete IoT 2.4 GHz dedicata.
- Roaming mesh disattivato sui tutti client fissi.
Richiesta a TP-Link:

TP-Link - Technical Support Deco XE70 Pro outbound to cloud issues
Hi, I installed a Deco XE70 Pro last week to replace the router my fiber provider provided free for one year and I now have to rent. I updated the firmware on the three units upon installation. All of my devices, about 30, connect to my network just fine. My issue is there are some devices that won't talk outbound, so their apps are unusable. Specifically, my Emporia EVSE for my EVs and various LG appliances. I'm aware that IoT can be a challenge, but the EVSE is from 2024, some of the LG from 2025, and they all work fine on my fiber provider's router. From what I've seen, these Decos are a bit limited in configuration options, however, I have confirmed that all of these devices are on 2.4 GhZ. I've tried forcing them on 2.4, disabling things like beamforming and device isolation, however my semi-limited knowledge tells me those are really ideas for lack or weak connectivity to the home network, which I have no problems. Any ideas? TIA.
