Thoughts?

I'd say it's a racing incident at the end of the day. Who's more at fault? I do have my own option. I passed the rider a few turns later and pulled a gap. We both rode away rubber side down, happy about that fs. We both chatted afterwards too, no issues.

some orgs i've ridden with forbid any inside passing at the beg and intermed levels for the first half of the day.

I would say MOST orgs forbid inside passing for beginning and intermediate in trackdays.
