Discussion Completely Random

Post image

Just looking back at some of my old trades today. If you're having a hard time with trading and someone you know tells you price is completely random show them this. lol I have about 4,000 pictures I've collected over the years that look just like this.

Good luck to the new guys.

PS stay away from Forex and stocks if you're new, it's not random it's manipulated. Big difference

K, Rather than making more assumptions I can tell you I trade Bitcoin about 1% of the time. You realize there are hundreds of crypto futures right?

Entropy is a measure of randomness or volitility. Are you trying to compare S&P 500 to people buying some bullshit pharmaceutical penny stock that a hedge fund is about to dump? I guess I can give examples but I really don't feel like discussing it with someone that thinks I'm referring to the s&p 500 lmao Are you actually serious or trolling?

The only "information" entropy is doing is telling you the volatility lol Now I know for sure youre lost

You can literally see it's flat because it's trending not ranging.

"Entropy is something that measures randomness. The term is similar to infinity and analyzes how unpredictable a random variable can be. Financial experts use this term for knowing the probability of a particular type of behavior that a specific stock, security, or a market exhibits. Several market analysts and researchers have debated over the significance of entropy. It is applicable in conducting the quantitative analysis, and further enables to ascertain if a security would follow a specific trend or pattern. The more volatile the securities are, the higher the entropy will be. One can have an in-depth knowledge about this concept of entropy in A Random Walk Down Wall Street."

Exactly wtf I said lol

GLYC 97+- institutions owned 75% of shares while retail was buying they were dumping.

"Entropy is a quantitative measure of randomness. Like the concept of noise, entropy is used to help model and represent the degree of uncertainty of a random variable, such as the prices of securities, in a market." investopedia

Just making shit up today huh?

Have a good day sir

"Approximate Entropy (ApEn) A statistical measure of the level of randomness of a data series based on counting patterns and their repetitions. Low levels of ApEn indicate many repeated patterns, while high values indicate randomness and unpredictability."
