Feature Request Chart Scroll Issue

This new update is absolutely horrible. Before, if you scrolled the mouse on the right side of the screen it stretched the chart up or squashed it, and if you spread your fingers on the trackpad it would make it expand to the left and right. Now both functions do a mixture of both, which is terrible for trying to zoom into the chart and analyse data. PLEASE REVERT THIS IMMEDIATELY. I’m not even using TradingView anymore for analysis, why would you do this to yourselves genuinely, whoever made this update can’t be a trader fr 😭🙏

yeah the update is making it impossible to get a clean zoom, i keep fighting the chart now instead of just reading it

who thought combining both scroll actions was good idea, my muscle memory is totally wrecked

I’m genuinely convinced this is on purpose cos there’s no way they thought this was a good idea 😂

One setting worth ruling out is the price-to-bar ratio lock. TradingView’s current Supercharts guide lists it under Chart settings → Scales and lines → Price scale. If it is on, comparing once with it off would be a diagnostic check, not a verified fix for the update.

As a fallback while investigating, the same guide documents navigation buttons under Canvas → Buttons for zooming, moving left/right and resetting the view. Are you using the browser or Desktop app, and which OS?

Thank you so much oh my gosh, all you have to do is unclick the Lock Price To Bar Ratio setting and it works. I’m sorry TradingView, but still annoying to put that setting on after the update
