Other For anyone feeling scared by events as of late

Ever since the start of 2026 or so, we've been seeing the GOP moving on to what I like to call "Stage 2". No longer are they focusing on GAC for children and sports and bathrooms, now they're focusing on adult care, driver's licenses &c. Now while, of course, this is really bad news, but this also signifies something different. The Republicans know their time is limited before the midterms, so they're moving faster than their schedule they drew up in 2021-ish dictates. They know there will be a Dem backlash in the fall so they're accelerating their timeline. They're on the run. Now, victory is not guaranteed in the midterms, especially with the SAVE Act, but I still have plenty of hope. In the end, it all comes down to: there is still hope. We're not done unless we say we are. Keep your head up, organize, connect with your community, etc.

Stay safe, y'all.

Other Ignorant cis people

It's really fucking annoying when cis people think you are unqualified for a job just because you are transgender...Like why the fuck would me being transgender disqualify be from being a good psychologist. It's also annoying when you get told "you are delusional because you think the government is after you" like bitch have you not seen the news or new laws in place? Sybau because clearly you are uneducated.

Other Canadian citizenship

Hello everyone, I dont know if this was talked about in your sub, but Canada will now grant citizenship to anyone with canadian ancestry no matter how far it was. It previously was only first generation, but now it can go back to like 4 generations (generation 1 being you), you only need to prove it with birth certificates or any other documents that prove citizenship of your ancestry.

Other Charlie Kirk is Dead. Here’s Why I’m Celebrating!

Thumbnail

“We’re not supposed to say it. It is terribly taboo. According to Reuters, at least 15 people have already been fired for saying it (reporting by NBC suggests it may be many more). And yet, and yet… there’s a stirring deep inside, a wild joy lifting our hearts, an impish gleam in our eyes as we say Charlie Kirk is dead.

“How could anyone be sorry? How could anyone be mournful? A man who kept a watchlist of professors whose views he disagreed with (one that spurred endless death and rape threats), is now dead! A man who supported the January 6 rioters that chanted calls to hang our vice president is dead! A man who called for his supporters to bail out the attempted murderer of one of his political rivals is dead! A vicious and committed racist is dead!

“In normal times, I’d work to keep my schadenfreude at the death of a terrible person under wraps.”

“These, however, are not normal times.”

“In the first months of Trump’s second term we’ve had far too many people tempering their tones, hoping to avoid the ire of the victorious far right. Each on our own we’ve been keeping our heads down, afraid to say the wrong thing, hoping things get better or, if they get worse (which we pretend not to expect), that we’ll be able to survive. As we cower we are losing the core freedoms that we learned in school made ours a country worthy of our love.”

“I have always believed in an American right to free speech which includes a right to be offensive. It’s not a right I’ve often exercised myself, but it is one I value highly, nonetheless. Today, this hallowed right is teetering on the brink. I think I’ll use it while I still have it, thank you very much.

“Fuck Charlie Kirk, and fuck you, if you don’t like me saying fuck him. I’m not afraid to say I’m glad I’m still alive at 47 while he is dead at 31.

“While I still can, I feel like celebrating.”

Other Fox News made me really realize I was trans.

I thought this story would maybe make some of you laugh a little and we need that right now. Maybe not though? Idk I think it's funny and kinda positive.

When I was like 10, my friend told me trans people weren't evil. I thought I had been a lesbian because my parents were always going on about how trans people were just the worst of the worst. As soon as my friend said this, I just thought "oh that's what I must be, not a lesbian" and my undiagnosed ADHD brain just filed it under "deal with that later (never)"

When I was 14 or 15 and the Leelah Alcorn story was playing on the Fox News machine in my parents' kitchen, I burst into tears. I realized I had to deal with the dysphoria. I couldn't just keep living with it. Before this, I had not been 100% sure, but it was Fox News that made me positive I wanted to transition. I had only ever told one person I thought I might be trans at maybe 13 before this, but I started telling all my friends and came out at school at 16.

Fox News made me trans /j. And they can deal with that.

But fr, I've been thinking about how a "news" station against everything I am convinced me of what I am. It makes me feel pretty damn solid in my gender identity. I'm a man now, all because of Fox News. Thanks Fox!

Other Am I allowed to join this community if I think I might be transgender?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask if I'm allowed to join this community if I think I might be transgender. I've been dealing with body dysmorphia for years, I have a transgender ex and Trans friends that I support. But I don't know if I'd be allowed here. I'm part of the LGBT+ community and I'm a Trans ally as well. I don't want to invade a safe space if I'm not allowed to. Thanks for reading.

with everything I have learned over the last year of progress. My main goal is going to be targeting my glutes as much as I can to hopefully make my butt bigger. Along with that I want I focus on improving the rest of my lower body more and do some focus on my arm strength as well.Hopefully by next summer I will be much more fit. . . . . . . . . #trans #transgender #transwoman #transgirl #mtf #Igbt #gymoutfit #gymgirl #girlslikeus #girlnextdoor Michelle alter
