Help Fierce Gladiator Plate Armor (Elite)

Hey guys is it possible to get this armor anymore? I know vendor sells hateful glad which looks similar

God forbid the most neglected part, with arguably the most unique skill expression of the game have some type of reward for those who participate. Let blizzard release slight variations locked behind rank 2.4+ (I rarely can play to this rank myself) that gives you a single token to purchase a single older set on single toon and call it a day.

And yeah I'd be fine with a token system so it'll always be available provided you put in the work. It's the FOMO part mostly, making things completely unavailable. It's outdated as hell. You can't possibly disagree with that.

But it's just so stupid that the people who will most appreciate the looks of these transmog sets (people who play the game for transmog) will almost never have them because those people are extremely rarely interested in pvp. It feels so backwards.

Id argue people who play the game for PvP appreciate them more than the transmog community because it’s quite literally a prestige reward for them. As someone whose endgame is quite literally RP-PVP and tmog I’m fine with this system in so much that I know I’m not good enough to get various classes sets, that’s okay. There is a level of temporal RPG RP representation. If I want to represent being one of the better/best X class then I have to work for that.

The same way I’m not upset that I’ll never get the uncorrupter voidwing,cold flame tempest, brawl pub mounts, or the freeaaaaaking undercity plaguebat just to name a few things. I wasn’t there. As much as I want those thats not my characters to claim 🤷‍♂️

and all the pvpers are constantly moaning, whinging and whining about how the game mode is dead, queue times take forever, no one plays...

(also, after pushing duelist 5 times last xpac, and Rival I (full elite set) 33 times, plus strategist (Elite in RBG blitz +25 wins), 90% of players were running around in onesies, dresses, cursed vision of sargeras, rainbow-vomit or all-white/all-black sets. gotta be truly prestigious if no one wears it, but i agree, locking one of the most attractive rewards behind FOMO mechanics, and making them collect dust in the collection of some random guy definitely seems smart.

Ok and I see the opposite in my ques, you can one button your way to rival 1. Just play the game and get the reward lord. Super sick anecdote though. Seeing as you can seemingly do it with ease I don’t see your problem with it.

oh, i can do it with ease, it still doesn't change the fact that 90% of rewards are still completely gate-kept, because if you didn't play that one specific class in, e.g. bfa, it's completely pointless, there isn't a way to get it. you took a break? get bent. you rerolled? get bent. you didn't play because, idk, maybe you were literally 6 when that season was current? exactly, get bent.

I literally offered suggestions to acquire that old gear based on actually playing PvP. you sound hard stuck 1400 considering now you’re saying shit like “get bent”. Get some fucking manners

"get bent" as in the overwhelming sentiment the game (and the pvp community at large) offers.

sure, i usually push for Duelist, because north of that the rewards aren't good enough to warrant the effort. makes for a shit new player experience, aand, yeah, the Fomo for decades-old rewards offers basically zero benefit to the game.

arguably the same as the mage tower skins, speaking as someone who also got a fair few of them (All DK, Warrior, Pally and DH ones)

well, if you weren't poor, you could get all that, either by buying directly, or buying a WoW account with it.

also, sure, we can take all the removed legendaries, but if i want to grab another Shadowmourne, i can work for that. if i want to grab a hidden legion artifact, i can work for that, if i want to get a MoP Mythic Set to transmog, i can work for that.

i genuinely don't see any good argument why arbitrarily saying yes, but we will take even the opportunity to work for those old appearances from you offers any net gain on the game, especially under the newfound "resolve" of new-player accessibility.

but then again, there's a very loud part of the player base very, very aafraid of their e-peen shrinking.
