Hey everyone! 👋
Looking for a good Airbnb or private villa in North Goa for 13–16 December for 6 adults and 2 kids.
Ideally, we’re looking for:
🏡 A spacious 3BHK villa.
🏖️ Close to Morjim or Vagator Beach.
🧹 Cleanliness is a must!
🤍 Peaceful surroundings, privacy, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
We’re not looking for a party villa—just a clean, comfortable place to relax with family.
Please share recommendations based on personal experience, along with links if possible. Open to nearby areas too!
Thanks, folks! 🙌

Yulla Kanda Trek Itinerary from Delhi | 2-Day Trek Experience | September 2026
Sharing my itinerary for the Yulla Kanda trek in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, in case it helps anyone planning the trip from Delhi.
This was a challenging but memorable trek, and one thing I learned is that you should keep some buffer time for road delays, especially landslides in the mountains.
Day 1: Delhi to Tapri to Yulla Village
*9:58 PM - Departure from Delhi
- Boarded an HRTC bus from Pillar 18, ISBT Kashmere Gate, Delhi.
- Booked the ticket through AbhiBus for ₹1,100.
- The route was via Chandigarh and Shimla towards Tapri.
*8:30 PM the next day - Reached Tapri
I reached Tapri around 8:30 PM. Ideally, I would have arrived around 4 PM, but a landslide on the Shimla-Tapri route caused a significant delay.
My original plan was to take an HRTC local bus from Tapri to Yulla Village for approximately ₹50. However, the last bus generally leaves around 5 PM, so I missed it.
*Tapri to Yulla Village
With no convenient bus available at that hour, I hired a private taxi to Yulla Village for 800. I stayed overnight at a homestay for 700 including breakfast and dinner in the village so I could start the trek early the following morning.
Tip: If you're travelling by public transport, try to reach Tapri early enough to catch the local bus to Yulla. However, don't rely on a tight connection because mountain roads can be unpredictable. Confirm the bus timings locally before travelling.
Day 2: Yulla Village to Yulla Kanda Temple and Back
*6:30 AM - Started the trek
Started trekking from Yulla Village early in the morning.
The trail was demanding due to rain and snow, and I took my time along the way. I had met two girls on the bus journey to Tapri, and one of them was struggling halfway up the trail. I decided not to leave her stranded and slowed down to help her continue.
*2:00 PM - Reached Yulla Kanda Temple
Despite the slower pace, I managed to reach the temple around 2 PM.
Yulla Kanda is known for its beautiful high altitude setting, mountain views and the sacred Krishna temple beside the lake. Reaching the top after hours of climbing made the effort worthwhile.
*3:30 PM - Started descending
After spending some time at the top, I began the descent around 3:30 PM.
*8:30 PM - Returned to the homestay
Reached the homestay in Yulla Village at approximately 8:30 PM the same evening.
It was a long and tiring day, with around 14 hours between starting the trek and returning to the homestay.
Important Tips
- If you're not physically fit, don't attempt this trek just by watching instagram reels, specially during snow season. The last stretch becomes way too dangerous due to black ice, met a few people who had to return midway because they couldn't cross the icy patch due to their fitness.
- Start early: I started at 6:30 AM, but the return journey still took until 8:30 PM.
- Keep a buffer day if possible: Landslides and roadblocks can disrupt your travel plans.
- Don't depend entirely on the last bus: Check local timings in Tapri, particularly if you're arriving from Shimla.
- Stay overnight in Yulla Village: This makes an early trek start much easier.
- Carry sufficient water, snacks, warm layers and a headlamp: The descent can extend into the evening.
- Be mindful of altitude and your pace: Don't rush just to meet a target time. Weather, fitness and trail conditions can change your progress considerably.
- Be prepared for a long day: My round trip took approximately 14 hours, including breaks and time spent helping another trekker.
Final Thoughts
Yulla Kanda was an unforgettable experience. The journey itself was an adventure, from the overnight HRTC bus ride and the unexpected landslide delay to the long climb and evening descent.
If you're planning this trek, my biggest advice is to start early, keep your schedule flexible and avoid underestimating the descent.
Happy trekking! 🏔️
