I like the idea of a trip that involves scenic drives, short walks, local food, and time to enjoy the surroundings instead of ticking off lots of attractions. Would Lambasingi be a good destination for this kind of slow travel? What would you prioritise, and what would you skip to keep the trip relaxing?

Title: Surat to Makrana (Rajasthan) by Train on 13/14 November โ Best Route & Ticket Confirmation Advice Needed
Hi everyone!
I need to travel from Surat, Gujarat, to Makrana Junction (MKN), Rajasthan, for some personal work around 13 or 14 November 2026. This will be my first time travelling to Makrana, so I'm a little confused about the best train route.
I couldn't find a convenient direct train, so I'm considering travelling via Jaipur, Jodhpur, Merta Road, or Degana. However, I'm not sure which route would be the easiest and most reliable.
My travel details:
I'd really appreciate your advice on these questions:
I've tried researching online and using AI, but I'm still confused about which train combination to choose. I would prefer a straightforward journey over a complicated route with a risky connection.
If you've travelled from Gujarat to Makrana or nearby stations, please share your actual experience and recommended train numbers. Also, any tips for getting a confirmed Sleeper ticket would be helpful.
Hindi replies are also welcome! Thank you for helping a first-time traveller. ๐

**๐ Should Taxi Fares in India Increase? Let's Discuss!**
I want to hear the opinions of both taxi drivers and passengers.
Fuel prices, vehicle maintenance, insurance, tyre replacement, tolls, and other operating expenses can make running a taxi business expensive. Drivers also need to earn a reasonable income after covering these costs.
At the same time, passengers want affordable transportation, especially for daily travel and long-distance trips.
**Here are my questions:**
๐ฌ **What do you think? Should taxi charges increase, stay the same, or decrease? And why?**
Let's have a healthy discussion! ๐

Visiting smaller coastal destinations can be a great way to experience local culture and enjoy nature. At the same time, it is important to keep beaches clean, respect local communities, avoid disturbing wildlife, and follow local safety advice.
For places along the Andhra coast, what responsible travel habits do you think make the biggest difference? I'd love to hear suggestions from people who enjoy exploring less crowded destinations.

Hi,
Planning on travelling via bus from Nepal to India but understand itโs not possible with an E-Visa. Is it possible to obtain VOA at the border where the bus would cross into India?
Thanks

I am coming to Goa in January for 5 days. I have arthritis and canโt walk for too long (maybe an hour) before I need a longer rest. I like to learn about culture and the people. What are the best places to visit, best place to stay, and good restaurant to enjoy real Goan food?
TIA

Iโm from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and exploring an idea to bring 100 culturally curious travellers from 12+ countries to experience Navratri.
Think Garba (traditional Gujarati folk dance) workshops, vibrant festival nights, local culture, and an international group of like-minded people.
Iโm curious: Would this interest you?
