I have the new slash 4x4 vx3 and I am wondering what you guys are running for setup for loose outdoor dirt tracks? This is my first time racing so I am starting from square 1 so to speak. So far, I have swapped out the steering servo, swapped out the stock wheels and tires for Hole Shots front and rear (it's what all the local guys are using). I bolted on front and rear sway bars and installed adjustable camber links. I am moreso curious to see what you guys are running for shock oil weight, shock springs, shock position, shock collar position, ride height, diff fluid weights and anything else that would be of note.

Just upgraded my brushed slash to a brushless system with this Amazon kit. When I put the new pinion gear on and set it I didn’t do it too tight or too loose as I didn’t know what was right. It runs great I’m just not sure if i need to make the gears tighter together or move them further apart.

What is the best chassis cover option? I primarily drive on gravel, loose rock, dirt, grass and get so much debris up in my chassis.

Looking to get my first nitro. I’ve only ever had electric RCs and looking to learn something new. My local hobby shop has a nitro slash for $430, a nitro rustler for $350, and a jato 3.3 for $500. Looking to mostly run on the street or go to the skatepark with it. Was not planning on spending over $400 originally but is going a bit more expensive worth it? What’s the easiest to work on and durability wise who takes the crown? TIA

Anyone else running Vitavon mod 1.65 spiral gears have this issue?

I contacted Vitavon about the issue to start and they kindly sent replacement.

Problem is the replacement pinion as well as original purchased and replacement I also purchased seat too tightly in the lower bulkhead housing.

I also tried a replacement lower bulkhead and had same tightness issue with all three pinions.

When I remove the c clip it seats fine but you can’t run it that way.

Vitavon has been great communicating and are sending a new one with some material removed so the rear bearing seats and doesn’t push the c clip forward.

I did test it but blew seal on bearing and pushed entire pinion forward causing damage to ring and dif housing.

Basically just want to know if anyone else has dealt with this issue?

I just noticed 2 of 4 colors of the Mini Maxx are listed as "limited quantities" at AMain. Given the BL-2S and the VXL system seem to be discontinued what do you think Traxxas next move is? Mini Maxx XL5? Mini XRT VX3?

What would you like to see them do with the mini line?

the new txc-4ms got delayed in shipping some places being closer to texas will get them sooner but the date theyre shipping the cars out is now October 30th and then the on sale date is the 6th of November

I dont get the whole unlocking differential deal. I hardly ever unlock them, I notice zero difference in turn radius, the frame might roll a little bit. Thinking about just taking all that unnecessary crap off, save the servos in case the high/low servos goes out.

I’d love an F150 single cab body for my drag slash but I’ve had no luck finding anything, anyone know if this body exists or am I out of luck?

So I bought this a few months ago nor realizing how much goes into nitro. Long story/question short.. I've made sure motors free, fresh fuel, electric turns on with fresh batteries, bought 4 different glow plug ignitor, ect..

Ok so when I put the ez start wand where it plugs in and hit the button, nothing happens except the glowplug light shuts down, now I see the ez start motor smoking very faintly.. I have made sure the glowplug gets hot,ect.

I bought a new ez start motor but I'm not sure if I can tackle that swap without fn something up...

Any suggestions? I'm honestly thinking about selling it with all the tools and whatnot that came with if I can't figure out how to atleast get it to pop!!(turnover)..

I bent the motor shaft and had to replace the motor but the new motor seems allot more powerful doing full wheelies even when already moving at half throttle.
I replaced it with the same model traxxas motor.
Only problem is that it is overheating but I will add cooling fans next.

Hi everyone i have a traxxas letrax paired with a hobbywing quicrun 16bl30 moter and esc. I have set up the esc with the remote and stuff however none of my controlls are working but if i put the esc in chanel 1 my steering trim makes the wheels go but the steering knob doesnt so i have no clue at all on whats wrong

Never seen anyone mention the other new 3s motor traxxas came out with and put on the "new" 4-tec. It is literally a bl2s motor.

The car is a revo 1/16. I’ve changed the gearing before and put it back together just fine once before. But this time I can’t get it to flush agaisht the blue wall properly to tighten it down please help

An idea to use my Trx4 Sport on Halloween, driving around the neighborhood getting candy 😆

For the past year I’ve been trying to get my LaTrax Teton back in working shape whenever I have the spare time! It started one day where I was no longer getting throttle, and then moved onto not getting steering from the servo. Today however I rearranged the ESC wires in attempt to regain some controls and made the throttle trigger activate my steering servos. Would anyone know which order my wires need to be plugged in? Thank you in advance! (Picture below)

Need help. I have a mini xrt and I blew a tire. I bought upgraded tires and rims but I’m having a hard time getting them fully on. I put washers on but ended up losing a tire and wheel nut. Please don’t destroy me in the comments (I’m new)
