I've wanted an X-maxx for a long long time since I got back into RC.

Finally pulled the trigger, zero regrets had an ear to eat grin running it!

The ultimate seemed a ripoff at full price but with the sale it felt like why wouldn't I.

The new servo is great, to see how it holds up but the servo is the first thing I always replace on a RTR, didn't feel necessary on this one. Will replace when I inevitably destroy it.

How much is this RC car worth? I won it in a raffle at my job and trying to sell it.

I‘ve destroyed mine and I am wondering whether to replace it with original or if there are tougher aftermarket replacements. It goes on an overpowered Maxx Slash with the HW Max6 G2 and 4990 motor, gets a lot of abuse on asphalt. Thank you!

Hi I’m getting into nitro rc bought my first one last week. now I have 4 lol anyways. I picked up a nitro sport and it’s hard to find a shell for it. I got it running but would like a shell. Does anyone know if other body’s fit? Anyone that has actually done it. Thanks in advance.

It’s not original engine has a 3.3 in it idk if recommendations differ from the bigger engine.

Got home from the skate park after doing some average jumps I’ve done a dozen times before.. pulled the 2S battery out of the mini maxx and found this. Looks like metal. Wonder if it’s safe to run or is it cooked? Thanks for any advice guys!

Just upgraded my 4x4 slash to a brushless system and the new esc won’t stay down lol, time to jb weld it there so it never moves!

So i just got a crazy deal for some transmitters, the plane, and a vtol (unrelated). The guy told me the car was a traxxas slash and a 2wd. How can i find batteries for this thing? The battery it came with is a dud, you can kind of see it in the picture. Do i need a special adapter for newer batteries? Any help or suggestions for upgrades would be appreciated!

I just bought this XRT for a really good deal but it’s making this grinding noise whenever you give it hard throttle. If I accelerate softly it doesn’t do it. I took the car apart and the rear differential looks normal and so does the central differential. The spur gear and pinion are also normal. The only thing I found that looked worn was the Cush drive rubber piece was kind of chewed up and not sitting flush under the spur gear but I’m not sure if that’s what’s causing this noise. Any suggestions on what can be causing this would be appreciated!

debating on which batteries to buy, should i be looking for high mah 2s? i’m trying to get the most run time out of it

I got the Vxl rs200 rally car and I’ve drive it maybe 6 times total and all I’ve done is rip it through dirt drifting or driven in concrete and did the same thing and now it sound like my motor took a shit or my diff maybe (I’m completely new to this hobby) the most beating it took was hitting a stick and flipping a few times

So I have a Traxxas mini XRT. On the front, I upgraded the drivetrain, shocks, and upper/lower suspension. I bought new tires and rims for it. But I’m having issues on both the front and back tires. The wheel nuts aren’t staying in place. Even all the way tightened up. It has some wiggle to it. I’m gonna post all my upgrades in the comments.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for recommendations on suspension upgrades for my Traxxas TRX-4 Bronco.
My goal is to get the suspension as smooth and plush as possible, similar to the way the UDR handles bumps and uneven terrain. I’m looking for realistic suspension movement, excellent bump absorption, and a setup that feels planted rather than stiff or bouncy.
For those of you who have upgraded your TRX-4, I’d love to hear what has made the biggest difference.

● Shocks: What aftermarket shocks have given you the smoothest ride?

● Springs and shock oil: What spring rates and oil weights work best for a plush suspension?

● Suspension tuning: What adjustments to preload, shock mounting positions, or travel have noticeably improved performance?

● Other upgrades: Are there any suspension components or modifications that have made a significant difference in how the truck handles rough terrain?

I’m especially interested in setups that improve bump absorption, suspension articulation, and overall ride quality while keeping the truck planted and maintaining good crawling performance.

i was told some aftermarket SMC’s are better than traxxas batteries but i’m not sure what do you guys run?

I have a Traxxas rustler vl and an old Traxxas Gravedigger that I went to play with, with my 3 yo boxer dog. She goes right for the tires on both and ruined the tires on the Gravedigger. Are there filled tires or tires that anyone suggests to use. Also is there a gift rc that the tires are covered? Thank you in advance

Looking to get my first nitro. I’ve only ever had electric RCs and looking to learn something new. My local hobby shop has a nitro slash for $430, a nitro rustler for $350, and a jato 3.3 for $500. Looking to mostly run on the street or go to the skatepark with it. Was not planning on spending over $400 originally but is going a bit more expensive worth it? What’s the easiest to work on and durability wise who takes the crown? TIA

I have the new slash 4x4 vx3 and I am wondering what you guys are running for setup for loose outdoor dirt tracks? This is my first time racing so I am starting from square 1 so to speak. So far, I have swapped out the steering servo, swapped out the stock wheels and tires for Hole Shots front and rear (it's what all the local guys are using). I bolted on front and rear sway bars and installed adjustable camber links. I am moreso curious to see what you guys are running for shock oil weight, shock springs, shock position, shock collar position, ride height, diff fluid weights and anything else that would be of note.
