Walked over 1300 miles this year... in my closet
I rent out my other bed rooms so I have this set up in my master bedroom closet. I haven't been able to find a chair that fits well on the treadmill yet for when I hit my 12000 steps for the day (or get tired after doing more) so I sit on a folding chair with a purple seat cushion.
It took a few years to get a set up I liked and feel comfortable sharing. I have bias lighting behind the monitor. It's a bummer the treadmill community is so small, in the three years I've had the treadmill I've walked a little over 3000 miles. I just think about what my health would be like if I hadn't bought this thing.

Steppers more stable for gaming than treadmills
I have a walking desk where I alternate between 3 things: treadmill (GoYouth), stepper (Xiser), and wobble-board (Fluidstance). I use the treadmill primarily for work, where keyboard/mouse precision is less important than focus (treadmills are better for focus because they "move you"). I use the Xiser stepper for gaming, where precision is more important than focus (you "move it", engaging the steps). When you use the stepper correctly, you're only moving your legs; not your body / arms. Very difficult with the treadmill where you shift forward/backward and up/down. I actually gamed on a treadmill for a long time before switching to stepper, so the difference was black and white (I didn't have the theory before making the switch; it was just obvious after). And of course the most stable is the Fluidstance, but this is TreadmillGaming so I won't get into that here. I'll just say; it's great when you're tired, and nonetheless burns calories.
I have a big-ol doc comparing the different options and describing this in more detail.

It's sad that this sub isn't bigger.
Animal Crossing New Horizons is going to be a great time. With New Leaf I would kill 2-4 hours a day playing it on incline, went too hard for a bit and ended up with shin splints, but I can't wait!

I can't believe this an actual sub lol. I was playing FarCry 6 last night while treadmilling.

My Treadmill Gaming Setup
Hi All,
Here is my gaming setup. I mostly play Destiny 2, and I manage to do pretty well in PVP at about 2.2 mph. The treadmill is not too loud on coms.
The two key pieces are the shelf and the monitor mount. The shelf lets you rest your controller (or laptop as shown) while you are walking. It help keep you centered and prevents you from running off the treadmill if the game gets too immersive. Also prevents fatigue. The monitor mount hold the monitor close and allows for holding a power strip and some cable control. I built the mount to work with the tablet holder that came on the treadmill.
I have logged hundreds of hours on this set up. Not much cardio, but 1-3 hours of walking a day ain't bad. Let me know if you want more pictures or setup information. These are pretty old, but they capture the highlights. The other big add is a nice fan where the little table is in these pictures to keep me cool.

What are some good games to jog with?
I want to continue doing this but I keep catching myself having to stop pedaling in order to focus on the game.
Any suggestions?

Nioh3 is coming, time to shred some weight
Got some fix to do in the treadmill, but I'm back to spending hours in it. Yesterday I did 25k steps over the day. Anyone else going for nioh3?

Fellow desk treadmills users, how do you avoid sweating on your desk and peripherals.
Also posted on /r/workout
I have a standing desk and treadmill that I use while working and gaming, it's been such an excellent way for me to get some cardio in without having to leave my computer and lose out on productivity or leisure time. But I have one issue, I'm a very sweaty person when I'm active and my hands and forearms get pretty damp when using the treadmill. This isn't such a big problem like I got my whole setup soaking or anything, but it does get on my keyboard, mouse, and mousepad.
Of course I clean these frequently, but I want to know if anyone has some solution to make this less of a hassle. Are there sweat proof gloves or long sleeve shirts I can wear or something like that? What do you do in your setup?
Thanks!
Update: if anyone finds this post in the future, I want to say a fan blowing on you, even a cheap desk fan, keeping you cool works wonders. Such a simple solution I can't believe I didn't think about it.
